135 mm of seat position adjustment

The Fanatec CSL Cockpit Seat Sliders provide 135 mm of forwards and backwards seat travel. A release handle makes it convenient to change the seat distance from the pedals and steering wheel.

They are a practical addition to a rig shared by several drivers. Use the slider mechanism to adjust the position instead of repositioning the seat mounting each time.

Steel rails with locking on both sides

The locking mechanism works on the left and right rails. Together with the steel construction, this is designed to hold the seat securely in its selected position while driving.

After each adjustment, check that the lock has engaged correctly. The mechanism makes fitting the rig easier, while the final setting should provide firm support when operating the pedals.

Installation in the CSL Cockpit system

The sliders have been durability tested with the CSL Cockpit and CSL Cockpit Seat. Installation uses the tools supplied with the cockpit; the manual shows how to fit the four metal spacers and reuse the specified mounting hardware.

The seat and cockpit are sold separately. For a setup from another brand, check the mounting method and hole spacing: Fanatec has not tested or endorsed compatibility with other designs.

Convenient driver changes on a shared rig

Sliding the seat makes it easier to adjust the distance from the controls for the next driver. It can also help after changing a steering wheel if its shape or reach changes your comfortable hand position.

Choose the position with pedal access and leg support in mind. The sliders adjust the seat distance; they do not replace the cockpit's other adjustments.

The Fanatec CSL Cockpit Seat Sliders are steel rails that let you move a seat forwards and backwards. They are a cockpit adjustment accessory; the seat and cockpit are sold separately.

2. How much seat travel is available?

The sliders provide 135 mm of adjustment. Within this travel, you can change the distance between the seat, pedals and steering wheel.

3. How do I adjust the seat position?

Use the handle to release the slider locking mechanism and move the seat. After setting the position, check that the mechanism has locked again before driving.

4. Do the sliders lock on both sides?

The locking mechanism operates on both the left and right rails. The steel construction and dual-sided locking are designed to keep the selected position secure and rigid.

5. Which cockpit and seat have been tested with these sliders?

6. Can I use them with seats and cockpits from other brands?

Compatibility with other seats and cockpits has not been tested or endorsed by Fanatec. The conventional design may allow installation, but you should check the seat documentation, mounting points and required clearances before buying.

7. Are installation tools included with the sliders?

Installation uses the tools supplied with the CSL Cockpit. These are not additional tools included in the slider package; the manual identifies cockpit tools T1, T3 and T4.

8. Does installation reuse existing cockpit hardware?

The manual calls for reusing specified mounting parts from your existing setup. Keep these parts during disassembly and follow the illustrated assembly sequence.

9. Does the package include a seat or a complete cockpit?

The seat and cockpit are not included. The package contains the CSL Cockpit Seat Sliders set, four metal spacers and a manual; equipment shown in installation photos illustrates their use.

10. Are the sliders useful when several people share a rig?

The sliders make it easier to change the seat distance when drivers of different heights share a rig. They provide 135 mm of travel; this does not establish a supported driver height range.
