Force-based braking through a 200 kg load cell

The brake reads applied force through a load cell rated at 200 kg. It does not depend only on how far the pedal travels. This lets the driver build braking consistency around muscle memory. With practice, the same pressure can be repeated at consecutive corners without watching the pedal stroke.

The rated sensor capacity is not a required operating force. Full brake output is defined during calibration, so it can be matched to the driver's strength, the stiffness of the rig and the type of car. Further mechanical tuning is available through the VNM Pedal Brake Upgrade Kit V2.

A contactless angle sensor reads the throttle position. There is no sensing wiper rubbing along a resistive track, which helps the input remain consistent over regular use. Both pedal faces offer height and angle adjustment, making it easier to match a low GT seat, a more upright cockpit or an inclined pedal tray.

VNM V1 Brake & Throttle combines the two inputs needed in cars where gear changes are handled by steering-wheel paddles. It suits GT machinery, prototypes, single-seaters and other racing categories that do not require a clutch pedal during normal driving. The driver gains more freedom to position both feet without paying for an unused third module.

Throttle and brake remain separate units, allowing their spacing to follow the cockpit and seat position. A rigid pedal tray is strongly recommended. 1. What is included with VNM V1 Brake & Throttle?

No. Both pedals can be bolted directly to a compatible rig or combined with the VNM Pedal Heel Rest. The optional base organises the installation, allows spacing adjustment and gives the feet a stable support point.

8. Is VNM Damper Kit compatible with the V1 two-pedal set?

Yes. V1 pedals can be expanded with the VNM Damper Kit. It introduces adjustable resistance and a more hydraulic-style response.

9. How can the brake stiffness be modified?

The VNM Pedal Brake Upgrade Kit V2 provides additional mechanical tuning options. It is an upgrade for the existing brake assembly, not a complete standalone pedal.

10. Can the pedals be used loose on the floor?

That is not the recommended installation. A load cell brake is used under substantial pressure, so the modules should be bolted to a rigid pedal tray or sim rig. Secure mounting improves safety and braking consistency.
