VNM Pedal Heel Rest - Turn separate VNM pedals into one module

VNM Pedal Heel Rest brings separate pedals, mounting rails and the heel platform together as one organised module. Once assembled, the complete unit can be attached to a sim rig without fastening every pedal directly to the cockpit frame. This helps preserve the selected spacing and keeps the assembly in place under firmer braking.

The VNM pedal baseplate is a practical addition to the VNM V1 Brake & Throttle and VNM Lite Pedalset. Pedals and the electronic controller are separate components and are not built into the plate.

Adjustable heel height and angle

The raised heel platform gives the feet a repeatable anchor point when moving between the throttle, brake and clutch. VNM Pedal Heel Rest allows both its height and angle to be adjusted, so the support can follow the pedal-deck angle, seat position and the driver’s preferred leg posture.

The heel support is made from steel and finished with a static-resistant black coating. Its broad surface leaves room to move a foot between pedals, while a properly selected angle helps keep the heel planted during small throttle inputs or careful brake modulation.

Two aluminium profiles for pedal positioning

Two aluminium profiles support the pedals and allow their positions to be selected individually. The spacing can be adapted to shoe width, left-foot braking or a configuration that includes a clutch. This avoids forcing every driver to use one fixed factory layout.

The pedal base also makes later changes easier. Pedal placement can be revised on the profiles without rebuilding the entire cockpit deck. The same construction can therefore support a compact two-pedal arrangement or a full throttle, brake and clutch setup.

Controller-box mounting and rig installation

VNM Pedal Heel Rest provides controller-box mounting holes on both sides. This gives the installer a choice of cable route and helps keep the controller away from the floor. As a mechanical accessory, the plate requires no separate power supply, USB connection or software configuration.

The product was developed primarily for VNM pedals. Hardware from another brand may fit only when its mounting pattern, dimensions and required clearance match the available profiles. Compatibility with third-party pedals should therefore be checked before ordering rather than assumed.

VNM Pedal Heel Rest – questions and answers

1. What is the VNM Pedal Heel Rest?

It is a pedal baseplate with an adjustable heel platform and two aluminium mounting profiles. Separate VNM pedals can be assembled as one module and then attached to a sim rig.

2. Is it only a heel stop?

No. The product combines the baseplate structure, a raised heel platform and two profiles for positioning the pedals. The heel support is one part of the complete mounting module.

3. Which VNM pedals can be fitted?

The plate is intended for the VNM pedal system. Suitable options include the VNM V1 Brake & Throttle and the VNM Lite Pedalset.

4. Can pedals from another brand be installed?

They may fit if their mounting pattern, dimensions and required clearance match the profiles. The plate was designed around VNM pedals, so third-party compatibility must be checked for the specific pedal model.

5. What can be adjusted on the heel support?

Both the height and angle are adjustable. The heel position can therefore be matched to the pedal height, pedal-deck angle and the driver’s preferred seating position.

6. Can the spacing between the pedals be changed?

Yes. The two aluminium profiles allow the position of each pedal to be selected. This supports two- or three-pedal layouts and makes it possible to adapt the spacing to the driver.

7. Where is the pedal controller mounted?

Controller-box mounting holes are provided on both sides. The preferred side can be selected according to the rig layout and cable route, helping keep the controller away from the floor.

8. What are the dimensions and weight?

The manufacturer specifies dimensions of 39.5 × 19.5 × 13 cm and a weight of 3 kg. These measurements should be compared with the available space on the cockpit’s pedal deck.

9. Does the plate require power or software?

No. It is a mechanical accessory and requires no separate power supply, USB connection or driver installation. Electronics remain part of the pedals and their controller box.

10. Are the pedals included?

No. VNM Pedal Heel Rest is a mounting accessory. Pedals, the electronic controller and other cockpit components must be purchased separately unless they are already part of the existing VNM setup.
