VNM Brake/Throttle Bracket installs a Direct Haptic reactor at either of the two most common pedal positions. The same bracket model can be used on the brake or accelerator, but each unit supports only one reactor at one position.

A rig with haptic feedback on both pedals needs two VNM-HPRBK01 brackets and two reactors. The effects can then be configured separately, for example to distinguish ABS activity from traction-control intervention.

Direct pulse transfer into the pedal

The bracket creates a stable connection between the pedal and the VNM Direct Haptic Pedals Reactor. This helps the pulse enter the pedal rather than being dispersed through loose hardware or unrelated rig components.

After installation, check the fasteners and cable path. The cable should remain outside the moving parts and must not be pulled tight when the brake or throttle reaches full travel.

The bracket is not a complete haptic kit

VNM-HPRBK01 is a mechanical mounting part. It includes neither the reactor nor its control electronics. Operation also requires the VNM Controller Box V2 and VNM Power Supply.

An older Controller Box V1 must be replaced with V2. Before ordering the full system, check the controller supplied with the existing pedals, as current VNM sets may already include the required version.

The clutch uses a different mount

VNM Brake/Throttle Bracket is not the universal mount for all three pedals. A clutch installation requires the separate VNM Clutch Bracket.

The easiest way to build the system is to choose the pedal positions first, count the reactors and then add the matching brackets. Brake and throttle use VNM-HPRBK01, while the clutch uses VNM-HPRBK02.
