VNM Power Supply provides the energy required by the reactors mounted to the pedals. The VNM Direct Haptic Pedals Reactor produces the physical feedback associated with ABS, traction control, wheel lock, slip and other telemetry events. The power adapter does not create or configure these effects; it allows the reactors to reproduce them.

Because it belongs to the VNM ecosystem, there is no need to choose a generic adapter by connector shape alone. Using the dedicated VNM haptic power supply avoids relying on unconfirmed voltage, current and polarity specifications.

When a separate supply is needed

VNM includes a power supply with its two-reactor Set 2 packages. Customers buying one of those variants do not need to add a second unit. A separate VNM Power Supply is mainly useful when building a system from an individual reactor package, completing an installation that has no suitable supply or replacing a missing adapter.

Checking the exact package name prevents buying the same component twice. The single-reactor Set 1 does not include a supply, whereas Set 2 does. Pedal brackets for the throttle, brake and clutch remain separate accessories.

Power and control are separate jobs

The power adapter does not replace the control module. Within a complete setup, the VNM Controller Box V2 handles system communication and signal processing, while VNM Power Supply delivers energy to the haptic hardware. Each component has a distinct role.

Current VNM Pedals and VNM Lite Pedals are supplied with the V2 controller. Owners of an older Controller Box V1 need the newer module before adding Direct Haptic. V2 is also required when the VNM reactors are adapted to third-party pedals.

Wide-range AC input

2. Does a Direct Haptic reactor require external power?
