Simagic GT1-SR Alcantara
1,210.57zł
1,243.09zł -2.62%Simagic GT1-SR Alcantara is a 330 mm round wheel suited to GT cars, rally, drifting and classics. The Alcantara rim gives a secure grip, while the rigid aluminium hub, Hall-sensor paddles and Simagic Quick Release keep the connection to the wheelbase solid. It works with Simagic Alpha and Alpha EVO wheelbases.
Simagic GT1-SR Alcantara – 330 mm round sim racing wheel
Simagic GT1-SR Alcantara has the familiar shape of a real road or race-car wheel rather than the compact outline of a Formula model. Its 330 mm round rim works well in GT cars, rally stages, drifting, touring cars and older racing machinery. The full-circle design also makes quick corrections and hand-over-hand steering feel natural.
The Alcantara surface gives the hands plenty of grip, especially when racing gloves are used. At the centre sits a stiff hub made from CNC-machined aluminium with carbon-fibre elements. It feels solid under stronger Direct Drive forces and does not leave the middle of the wheel feeling soft or disconnected.

A traditional rim for several types of racing
The GT1-SR does not try to behave like a small Formula wheel. Its 330 mm diameter gives the driver more leverage and feels closer to the steering wheels found in many real sports, rally and touring cars.
During rally or drift driving, the rim can rotate freely through the hands. There is no flat edge to catch the fingers after a quick countersteer. In GT cars, the larger diameter encourages smoother inputs and makes small corrections easier to judge.
Alcantara grips
Alcantara suits drivers who value a firm connection with the rim. When Force Feedback gets heavier, the material helps keep the hands in place without forcing the driver to squeeze the wheel throughout the entire session.
The surface benefits from occasional cleaning. Racing gloves also help preserve its texture when the wheel is used regularly, although the rim can still be driven without them.
Simple controls that are easy to remember
The GT1 hub avoids the crowded layout found on many modern racing wheels. Four main buttons and two rotary encoders cover the functions most drivers use during a race, while their position becomes familiar after only a few sessions.
The buttons can operate headlights, wipers, radio, the pit limiter or view changes. The encoders are useful for brake balance, ABS, traction control or engine maps. Additional switches can be assigned to driving modes, menus or other functions supported by the simulator.
Hall-sensor paddle shifters
The magnetic gear paddles use contactless Hall sensors. Their movement has a noticeable activation point, which makes fast upshifts and several downshifts in a row easier to judge by feel.
Optional clutch paddles can be added for standing starts or cars where the clutch is operated from the steering wheel. They are not essential when a separate clutch pedal or manual shifter is being used.
Compatibility with Simagic wheelbases
The GT1-SR Alcantara uses the Simagic 50 mm Quick Release and works with Alpha and Alpha EVO Direct Drive wheelbases:
- Simagic Alpha Mini
- Simagic Alpha
- Simagic Alpha U
- Simagic Alpha EVO Sport
- Simagic Alpha EVO
- Simagic Alpha EVO Pro
- Simagic Alpha EVO Ultra
Before the first session, it is worth updating SimPro Manager together with the wheel and wheelbase firmware. Some Alpha EVO setups may also require the communication mode intended for earlier-generation Simagic steering wheels.
Installation on third-party wheelbases
Mechanical installation on selected third-party wheelbases may be possible with a suitable adapter, spacer or wheel-side Quick Release. The physical mounting and the electronic connection should be treated as two separate matters.
The GT1-SR was designed around Simagic wireless communication. On another brand of wheelbase, the buttons, encoders and paddles may remain inactive or require an additional method of supplying power and transferring data.
Before choosing mounting parts, the bolt pattern, Quick Release system and electronic connection should all be checked for the exact wheelbase being used. A rim that fits onto the shaft is not automatically fully functional.
Pedals for a matching setup
The wheel can be used with pedals from any manufacturer. Keeping the main controls within the Simagic ecosystem can still make setup and later expansion a little easier.
- Simagic P500 – an accessible Load Cell set for a first more advanced cockpit
- Simagic P700 – adjustable Load Cell pedals with room for later upgrades
- Simagic P1000 – a modular system supporting hydraulic, haptic and other accessories
- Simagic P2000 – hydraulic pedals for more advanced sim racing cockpits
Shifters and handbrake
A round steering wheel pairs naturally with a separate shifter. This combination suits classic GT cars, rally machinery, road vehicles and cars using a traditional gearbox.
- Simagic DS-8X – a 2-in-1 shifter with H-pattern and sequential modes
- Simagic Q1 – a sequential shifter with adjustable resistance, buttons and a gear display
- Simagic Q1S – a compact sequential shifter with a noticeable mechanical action
- Simagic TB-RS – a hydraulic handbrake for rally, rallycross and drifting
Best use of the Simagic GT1-SR Alcantara
The GT1-SR Alcantara suits drivers who do not want to change rims every time they choose a different car. It can be used for a GT race, followed by a rally stage, a drift session or a classic car with a manual gearbox.
It is not aimed at drivers who need a built-in display, numerous RGB buttons or a large bank of encoders. The layout remains straightforward. The essential controls stay within reach while the wheel keeps the look and feel of a traditional car rim.
