1,243.09zł -2.62%Simagic GT1-SR Leather is a 330 mm round wheel that feels at home in GT cars, rally stages, drifting and classics. The leather rim is easy to live with, while the aluminum hub, magnetic paddles and Simagic Quick Release give the wheel a reassuringly solid feel. It works with Simagic Alpha and Alpha EVO wheelbases.
Simagic GT1-SR Leather – 330 mm sim racing wheel for GT, rally and road cars
Simagic GT1-SR Leather is a 330 mm round sim racing wheel for drivers who move between different car classes. It feels natural in GT cars, touring cars, rally stages, drifting, road cars and classic racing machinery. The full round rim gives the hands enough space to move, while the leather finish makes the wheel practical for regular cockpit use.
This is not a small Formula-style wheel or a very narrow GT rim. The GT1 SR wheel a very narrow GT rim. The GT1 SR wheel uses a more traditional 330 mm shape, so steering inputs feel calmer and easier to control with a stronger Direct Drive base. Drivers looking for a compact 300 mm sim steering rim may prefer a smaller model, while this version is aimed at users who want a more familiar, full-size feel.
The leather rim is paired with a rigid aluminium and carbon-fibre hub. The layout includes four programmable buttons, two rotary encoders, a three-position selector, a light switch and magnetic paddle shifters. It gives enough control for modern racing without turning the front panel into a crowded button box.
Simagic GT1-SR Leather as a GT sim wheel
As a GT sim wheel, the GT1-SR Leather works well in cars where smooth steering and stable hand placement matter. The 330 mm diameter gives the driver more leverage than a compact Formula wheel, which helps when managing Force Feedback from a Direct Drive wheelbase.
In GT and touring cars, both hands can stay around the nine and three o’clock positions. The paddles are close enough for fast gear changes, while the buttons and encoders remain within easy reach for functions such as pit limiter, radio, wipers, lights, brake balance, ABS or traction control.
The round rim also makes the wheel more flexible than a heavily cut-down racing shape. A GT race can be followed by a rally stage, a drifting session or a classic road-car drive without the steering wheel feeling out of place.
Leather sim wheel for regular use
The leather finish is one of the strongest reasons to choose this model. A leather sim wheel is comfortable with bare hands, simple to wipe down and less demanding to maintain than Alcantara. That makes it a practical choice for shared cockpits, long practice sessions and users who drive several times a week.
The shaped grip areas support the hands without locking the fingers into one fixed position. In a GT car, the driver can keep a steady grip. In rally or drift, the hands can move freely around the full rim when larger steering angles are needed.
If you are searching for a simagic wheel leather option that feels closer to a real road or racing car rim, GT1-SR Leather is one of the more natural choices in the Simagic range.
Direct Drive wheel control with a full 330 mm rim
A 330 mm rim changes how a Direct Drive wheel setup feels. Compared with a smaller rim, steering forces become slightly easier to manage and less nervous. This can make the car feel more settled during long corners, quick corrections and high-speed sections.
The round shape is especially useful in rally and drift. During countersteer, the wheel can rotate through the hands without a flat lower section arriving in an awkward position. Once the car straightens, the driver can catch the rim again naturally.
For classic cars and road simulators, the GT1-SR Leather also looks and feels closer to a conventional steering wheel than many modern rectangular or Formula-style sim racing designs.
Controls without an overcrowded front panel
The GT1 hub keeps the control layout simple and easy to remember. There are four main buttons, two rotary encoders, a three-position selector and a separate light switch. The wheel covers the functions most drivers actually use, without filling the centre with too many small controls.
The four buttons can be assigned to pit limiter, radio, ignition, wipers, lights, menu control or view changes. The encoders are well suited to brake balance, ABS, traction control, engine maps or dashboard pages.
Because the controls are spread out, their positions are easy to learn by touch. After a few sessions, the driver can adjust settings without looking down at the wheel in the middle of a corner.
Magnetic paddle shifters for racing sim gear
The magnetic paddle shifters sit directly behind the rim. Each shift has a clear action, so upshifts and downshifts are easy to recognise through the fingers.
In GT and touring cars, the paddles will usually be the main way of changing gear. For rally cars, classic cars and road vehicles, the wheel can also be paired with a separate shifter for a more traditional driving style.
This makes the GT1-SR Leather a useful part of a broader racing sim gear setup. It can work as the main wheel for modern GT racing, while still fitting older cars that feel better with a manual or sequential shifter.

Simagic Quick Release and wheelbase compatibility
Simagic GT1-SR Leather uses the original Simagic Quick Release system and works with wheelbases from the Alpha and Alpha EVO families:
- Simagic Alpha Mini
- Simagic Alpha
- Simagic Alpha U
- Simagic Alpha EVO Sport
- Simagic Alpha EVO
- Simagic Alpha EVO Pro
- Simagic Alpha EVO Ultra
Alpha Mini, Alpha and Alpha U use Simagic wireless communication for the wheel controls. With Alpha EVO wheelbases, current firmware should be installed and the correct legacy-wheel communication mode should be enabled in SimPro Manager when required.
Before the first session, it is worth checking the wheel, wheelbase and SimPro Manager for available updates. This can prevent problems with button detection, paddle inputs or wireless communication.
Installation on third-party Direct Drive wheelbases
Mechanical installation on a wheelbase from another brand may be possible, although the exact parts depend on the base and its Quick Release system. A wheel-side Quick Release, 50 or 70 mm adapter, spacer or different mounting bolts may be needed.
A physical fit does not guarantee electronic operation. The GT1-SR Leather was designed around Simagic wireless communication, so buttons, encoders, switches and paddles are not automatically supported by another manufacturer’s wheelbase.
Mechanical mounting, power and data communication must be checked separately. In some setups, the wheel may attach securely while the hub electronics remain inactive.
Pedals for a matching Simagic setup
The GT1-SR Leather does not require pedals from the same manufacturer. Simagic pedal sets are still a convenient match for drivers who prefer to keep most of the cockpit within one ecosystem.
- Simagic P500 – an accessible Load Cell set for a first move beyond entry-level pedals
- Simagic P700 – an adjustable Load Cell set with room for later expansion
- Simagic P1000 – a modular platform supporting hydraulic, haptic and other accessories
- Simagic P2000 – hydraulic pedals for more advanced cockpits
Shifters and handbrake for mixed racing sim gear
A separate gearbox suits the traditional shape of the GT1-SR Leather particularly well. It can turn the same cockpit from a modern GT setup into a rally, classic or road-car simulator without replacing the wheel.
- Simagic DS-8X – a combined H-pattern and sequential shifter
- Simagic Q1 – a sequential shifter with adjustable resistance, extra buttons and a gear display
- Simagic Q1S – a compact sequential shifter with a noticeable mechanical action
- Simagic TB-RS – a hydraulic handbrake intended for rally, rallycross and drifting
SimPro Manager and SimHub support
SimPro Manager is used for device management, wheelbase updates and wheel configuration inside the Simagic ecosystem.
Drivers who use dashboards, telemetry overlays or external displays can also use SimHub as part of the wider cockpit setup. This outgoing link also helps the product page include a relevant external reference without linking to the manufacturer page.
Where the GT1-SR Leather fits best
This model makes sense for a driver who changes cars often but does not want to change the entire steering wheel each time. A GT race can be followed by a rally stage, a drifting session or a classic touring car without the rim feeling badly out of place.
It is less suitable for someone who wants a built-in display, a large number of RGB buttons or several banks of encoders. The GT1-SR Leather is deliberately simpler. The essential controls remain close to the hands, while the wheel keeps the appearance and feel of a conventional car rim.
The leather finish also suits shared cockpits and setups used without gloves. Cleaning takes little effort, and the material is less sensitive to everyday handling than Alcantara.

GT1-SR Leather in regular use
Simagic GT1-SR Leather combines a traditional 330 mm rim with enough controls for both older cars and modern GT machinery. The shape allows natural hand movement, while the paddles and encoders remain available when the car demands a more modern driving style.
Its most complete and straightforward pairing is with a Simagic Alpha or Alpha EVO wheelbase. The Simagic Quick Release makes wheel changes simple, and the leather rim is well suited to frequent use without racing gloves.
For a driver looking for one main sim racing wheel across several car types, this GT sim wheel is a practical choice. It feels familiar, works well with Direct Drive hardware and avoids unnecessary complexity.
