Simagic GT Pro Hub(K) D-Shape Leather is a complete 325 mm GT steering wheel built around the leather-covered P-325D-K rim. A carbon-fibre front plate, CNC-machined aluminium housing, 8 RGB buttons, multiple rotary controls, Hall-sensor shift paddles and dual-clutch paddles provide a practical layout for circuit racing. The QR50 is included, and the wheel works with Simagic Alpha and Alpha EVO wheelbases.
Simagic GT Pro Hub(K) D-Shape Leather – a complete 325 mm wheel for GT and endurance racing
Simagic GT Pro Hub(K) D-Shape Leather combines the GT Pro Hub(K) control plate with the leather-covered P-325D-K rim. The result is a complete 325 mm steering wheel designed mainly for GT cars, touring cars, prototypes and endurance racing.
The flat lower section creates extra clearance above the driver’s legs, while the wider rim provides calmer steering leverage than a small Formula wheel. It still responds quickly enough for chicanes, fast direction changes and short corrections.
The Hub(K) version includes the Hall-sensor shift-paddle module and an additional pair of clutch paddles. This is therefore a complete wheel with its rim, rear controls and QR50 rather than a bare button plate that still requires major components.

A 325 mm P-325D-K leather rim
The P-325D-K uses a D-shaped profile with a full upper section and a flattened lower edge. This layout suits circuit cars where both hands remain close to the 3 and 9 o’clock positions for most of the lap.
The flat section leaves more room between the steering wheel and the driver’s legs. It is particularly useful in compact cockpits with a low seating position or a wheelbase mounted close to the knees.
A 325 mm diameter provides more leverage than the 270–300 mm rims commonly used for Formula racing. Strong force feedback feels easier to manage, which can help the driver maintain a steady line during a longer stint.
The wheel remains responsive. It is smaller than a typical 350 mm drift rim, so rapid direction changes do not feel slow and the complete assembly does not take up excessive cockpit space.
A shape intended for circuit racing
The D-shaped layout feels most natural in cars using a low or medium steering range. This includes GT3, GT4, TCR, LMP and many modern prototypes.
Rallying and drifting normally suit a fully round rim that can rotate freely through the hands. The D-shaped version is better at preserving leg clearance and keeping the controls within consistent thumb reach.
Leather finish for regular use
The rim is covered in leather, making it practical for driving without gloves. The surface is easier to maintain than suede-style materials and suits a cockpit used several times throughout the week.
Shaped grip areas help the hands remain in position without excessive pressure through the fingers. This can reduce fatigue during long races, when unnecessary tension gradually builds in the hands and forearms.
After driving, the leather can be wiped gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Strong cleaning products and excessive moisture should be avoided.
Carbon-fibre front plate and CNC aluminium housing
The GT Pro Hub uses a carbon-fibre front plate supported by a CNC-machined aluminium housing. The structure remains rigid under Direct Drive loads and limits movement between the rim and Quick Release.
Hub stiffness becomes particularly important during kerb strikes and sudden loss of rear grip. Force generated by the wheelbase is transferred directly into the rim rather than being softened by unwanted panel flex.
The metal housing also gives the wheel a solid, substantial character. This is not an ultra-light plastic button plate, but a complete control hub carrying paddles, clutch controls and a broad selection of inputs.
Eight programmable RGB buttons
Eight RGB buttons are positioned across the front of the hub. They can be assigned to functions such as the pit limiter, radio, headlights, wipers, DRS, camera controls or pit-stop confirmation.
Each button can use a different colour. Pit-related controls may be marked in red, communication in blue and vehicle lighting in white.
Once the layout becomes familiar, the driver can recognise each function through position and colour without reading every label during the race.
Button-cap label set
A set of 128 labels is included with the hub. The front panel can therefore match the functions actually used in the selected simulator.
A GT3 profile may require a different layout from an LMP prototype or touring car. Applying the labels after finalising the control assignments avoids having to change them later.
Two seven-way multi-position switches
Each seven-way switch combines directional movement, rotation and a push input. One physical control can therefore replace several individual buttons.
They are useful for navigating a black box, changing dashboard pages, selecting strategy options and moving through simulator menus.
One switch can handle interface navigation while the second controls vehicle settings, leaving the main RGB buttons available for immediate commands.
A broad selection of rotary controls
The GT Pro Hub(K) provides several types of rotary input. Thumb encoders sit close to the grips and can be adjusted without completely releasing the rim.
Possible assignments include brake balance, engine maps, differential settings, audio volume and other parameters supported by the selected car.
Illuminated ABS and traction-control rotaries
Two RGB rotary controls are suited to ABS and traction-control adjustment. Their lighting makes the controls easier to distinguish in a dark cockpit.
Not every car provides separate ABS and TC settings. Where these functions are unavailable, the rotaries can be reassigned to other controls.
Additional encoders on the Hub(K)
The Hub(K) includes two additional rotary encoders that are not fitted to the standard GT Pro Hub. They expand the number of car settings available directly from the wheel.
They can be used for engine maps, fuel strategy, engine braking, dashboard pages or other adjustments supported by the simulator.
Nine-LED rev-light strip
A strip of nine LEDs runs across the upper part of the hub. Its main role is to display rising engine speed and the approaching shift point.
The lights sit close to the driver’s natural line of sight, allowing a colour change to be noticed without repeatedly checking the virtual dashboard.
Brightness, colours and lighting behaviour can be adjusted through SimPro Manager. Available effects also depend on the telemetry supplied by the simulator.
Hall-sensor shift paddles
Shift paddles are installed behind the rim and use Hall sensors. Input is detected magnetically rather than through a conventional electrical contact.
This provides a consistent activation point and limits wear on the sensing mechanism. Gear changes remain clear during both relaxed endurance driving and rapid downshifts before a braking zone.
Dual-clutch paddles included
The Hub(K) also includes a second pair of paddles that can operate as a dual clutch. This system is useful for standing starts in GT cars and prototypes.
The driver can prepare the clutch bite point while holding both paddles, then release one after the starting lights go out. This produces a more repeatable launch than releasing the entire clutch input at once.
Depending on simulator support, the additional paddles may also be assigned to a handbrake, DRS, push-to-pass or another analogue control.
Simagic QR50 Quick Release included
Simagic GT Pro Hub(K) D-Shape Leather is supplied with a QR50 Quick Release. The wheel-side connector is already included, so another Quick Release is not required for normal use with a compatible Simagic wheelbase.
The mechanism allows the wheel to be removed without undoing mounting screws. A separate round, rally or Formula wheel can therefore be used on the same base.

Button, encoder, paddle and lighting data is transmitted wirelessly to a compatible Simagic base. A USB cable does not need to remain connected to the rotating wheel during normal driving.
Configuration through SimPro Manager
SimPro Manager is used to check inputs, choose button colours, configure the rev lights and update the wheel firmware.
Separate profiles can be prepared for different cars. A GT3 setup may use the controls for the radio, pit limiter and headlights, while a prototype may require DRS, engine maps, hybrid settings and traction-control adjustment.
Checking for current wheel and wheelbase firmware before the first session is recommended. Updated software helps maintain reliable wireless communication and correct detection of every control.
D-Shape Leather or Round Leather?
The D-shaped version suits circuit cars where both hands remain in a fixed position. Its flat lower section creates extra leg clearance and works well with a limited steering range.
Simagic GT Pro Hub(K) Round Leather uses the same control hub but pairs it with a fully round 330 mm rim. It is better suited to rallying, drifting, road cars and classics where the wheel regularly moves through the hands.

Simagic GT Pro Hub(K) D-Shape Leather is intended for drivers who need a broad control layout but do not want the narrow grip position of a small Formula wheel. Its 325 mm diameter provides comfortable hand spacing, while the flat lower edge helps the wheel fit into a compact cockpit.
The leather rim suits regular use, the rigid hub works well with high-torque Direct Drive bases, and the buttons, encoders and switches reduce the need for a separate button box.
Hall-sensor shift paddles, dual-clutch controls, the included QR50 and wireless communication complete a wheel designed for GT, touring, LMP, prototype and endurance racing.
