2,137.40zł -1.9%Simagic FX Pro is a 290 mm Formula wheel with a 4.3-inch display, full carbon-fibre construction and six paddle modules. Twelve RGB buttons, five rotary encoders and four thumb encoders keep the main controls close at hand. It works with Simagic Alpha and Alpha EVO wheelbases through the 50 mm Quick Release.
Simagic FX Pro – 290 mm Formula wheel with a built-in display
Simagic FX Pro is made for cars where quick steering inputs and easy access to setup changes matter more than a traditional round rim. Its 290 mm format feels natural in Formula cars, LMP prototypes, Hypercars and modern GT machinery. Both hands stay in one position, while the buttons, encoders and paddles remain close enough to use without looking away from the circuit.
The 4.3-inch display sits directly in the driver’s line of sight. Gear, engine speed, lap data, flags and other supported telemetry can be shown on the wheel instead of a separate dashboard mounted above the wheelbase. Around the screen, 21 LEDs provide a clear rev indicator without taking up much space on the front panel.
Carbon-fibre construction keeps the wheel rigid when a Direct Drive base begins to load up through a fast corner. The shaped silicone grips are comfortable with or without gloves and are much easier to maintain than Alcantara during regular use.

Built around a 4.3-inch display
The screen is one of the main differences between FX Pro and the standard FX-C. Instead of relying entirely on a monitor overlay or a separate dashboard, the driver can keep the most important information directly on the wheel.
Different layouts can be used for different types of car. A Formula setup may focus on hybrid deployment, DRS, tyre data and sector times, while a GT dashboard can place more emphasis on ABS, traction control, fuel use and driver warnings.
The display is also useful during longer races. Flags, faults and selected race messages can appear close to the driver’s normal line of sight, reducing the need to search for information elsewhere on the screen.
Rev lights that remain easy to read
The 21-LED strip above the display gives a clear indication of rising engine speed. Colour and behaviour can be adjusted through SimPro Manager, allowing the light pattern to suit a particular car or personal preference.
The LEDs can also support status and telemetry feedback in compatible titles. This gives them a practical purpose beyond simple decoration, especially when several car systems need to be monitored during a race.
Controls arranged for driving rather than display
FX Pro carries a large number of inputs, although the front does not feel randomly filled with small switches. The main buttons are spread around the screen, the larger encoders sit lower on the face, and the four thumb controls can be reached without changing hand position.
The five rotary encoders work well for settings that change several times during a stint. Brake balance, ABS, traction control, differential settings, engine maps and hybrid deployment are typical examples. The thumb encoders are useful for smaller corrections made while the car is under load.
Twelve RGB buttons can handle DRS, radio, pit limiter, ignition, lights, wipers, menu confirmation or other frequently used commands. Their colours can be grouped in SimPro Manager, making the layout easier to remember during a race.
Seven-way switch for menus and dashboard pages
The seven-way control can replace several separate buttons. It is suitable for black-box navigation, dashboard changes, camera controls or moving through in-car menus.
Its position allows it to be found by touch. After a few sessions, the driver can move between pages without taking attention away from the track.
Six paddle modules behind the wheel
The rear of FX Pro contains six paddle modules. Two are used for gear changes, two operate as clutch paddles, and the remaining pair can be assigned to additional functions supported by the simulator.
The gear paddles use Hall sensors rather than traditional mechanical contacts. Their activation point feels consistent, which is useful during rapid upshifts or several downshifts before a slow corner.
Dual clutch paddles are especially useful for standing starts. A bite point can be configured so that one paddle holds the clutch at the required position while the second controls the final release. This arrangement is common in Formula cars and prototypes.
The additional paddles can be mapped according to the car. Depending on the simulator, they may operate DRS, push-to-pass, energy deployment, radio or another command that would otherwise occupy a front button.
Carbon-fibre construction and silicone grips
The main structure is made from carbon fibre rather than a decorative carbon-look layer. This keeps the wheel rigid around the grips, screen and paddle mounts when the wheelbase produces stronger forces.
FX Pro weighs approximately 1750 g. It is not the lightest Formula wheel, mainly because of the display and six-paddle system, but the weight remains appropriate for Alpha and Alpha EVO Direct Drive bases.
Silicone grips make the wheel practical for frequent use. They do not require racing gloves, are easy to clean and keep a predictable texture after long sessions. Their shape supports the palms and fingers without forcing the driver to hold the wheel with excessive pressure.
Compatibility with Simagic wheelbases
Simagic FX Pro includes the original 50 mm Quick Release and works with wheelbases from the Alpha and Alpha EVO families:
- Simagic Alpha Mini
- Simagic Alpha
- Simagic Alpha U
- Simagic Alpha EVO Sport
- Simagic Alpha EVO
- Simagic Alpha EVO Pro
- Simagic Alpha EVO Ultra
Before the first session, it is worth installing the latest available version of SimPro Manager and checking the firmware of both the wheel and wheelbase. Some Alpha EVO configurations may also require the communication mode intended for earlier-generation Simagic steering wheels.
The Quick Release makes changing wheels straightforward. FX Pro can be removed when a round rim is needed for rally or drifting, then fitted again for Formula, prototype or GT racing without changing the entire wheelbase setup.
Installation on third-party wheelbases
Mechanical installation on selected third-party wheelbases may be possible with an appropriate adapter, spacer or wheel-side Quick Release. A secure physical connection does not automatically provide power or data communication for the screen and controls.
FX Pro was designed around the Simagic ecosystem. When installed on another brand of wheelbase, the display, buttons, encoders, LEDs and paddles may remain inactive or require a separate connection method.
The mounting pattern, electronic connection and available power should all be confirmed before purchasing conversion parts. This is particularly important for a wheel with an integrated display and extensive lighting.
Pedals for an FX Pro setup
The wheel can be used with pedals from any manufacturer. Simagic pedal sets are a convenient match for drivers who prefer to configure most of the cockpit within the same product ecosystem.
- Simagic P500 – an accessible Load Cell set for a first move beyond basic pedals
- Simagic P700 – adjustable Load Cell pedals with options for later expansion
- Simagic P1000 – a modular pedal platform supporting hydraulic and haptic accessories
- Simagic P2000 – hydraulic pedals for more advanced sim racing cockpits
Best use of the Simagic FX Pro
FX Pro suits drivers who spend most of their time in Formula cars, LMP prototypes, Hypercars and current-generation GT machinery. The compact shape works best with steering ranges where both hands stay close to the three and nine o’clock positions.
It is less suitable for rally and drifting, where the wheel needs to rotate freely through the hands. A round rim is generally more comfortable for those disciplines.
The built-in screen is particularly useful for a cockpit without a separate dashboard. It keeps telemetry close to the hands and reduces the number of additional devices mounted around the wheelbase.
The six-paddle layout also gives FX Pro more flexibility than a basic Formula wheel. Gear changes, clutch control and additional functions can all remain behind the rim, leaving the front buttons available for car settings and race commands.

FX Pro in a Formula-style cockpit
Simagic FX Pro combines a compact 290 mm shape with a built-in display, a broad set of controls and six paddle modules. It places telemetry and car adjustments in front of the driver without requiring a separate screen above the wheelbase.
The wheel feels most natural in single-seaters, prototypes, Hypercars and modern GT cars. Carbon-fibre construction keeps the structure rigid, silicone grips suit regular use, and the Simagic Quick Release makes switching to a different wheel simple when another type of car calls for it.
