Simagic ZEUS GT sim racing wheel for GT and endurance racing
Simagic ZEUS GT is a 300 mm sim racing wheel designed for GT3, GT4, touring cars, prototypes and endurance racing. It gives the driver a wider and more natural hand position than a compact Formula wheel, while still keeping the response fast enough for modern circuit cars.
The wheel is built around a practical GT layout. It includes 10 RGB buttons, 3 rotary encoders, 2 seven-way switches, 15 RGB shift lights, Hall-sensor paddles and the included QR50 Quick Release. The result is a compact but complete control panel for drivers who want quick access to car settings during a race.
Simagic ZEUS GT sim racing wheel can also be expanded with the optional MagicDash 4. The display is not part of the standard wheel package, so it can be added later when the cockpit needs a telemetry screen directly on the steering wheel.
Simagic ZEUS GT main features
- 300 mm GT steering wheel for GT3, GT4, endurance, touring and prototype racing
- 10 programmable RGB buttons for race and car functions
- 3 rotary encoders for in-car adjustments
- 2 seven-way switches for menus, black box controls and dashboard pages
- 15 RGB shift lights for RPM, flags, warnings and telemetry feedback
- Hall-sensor paddle shifters with a clear and repeatable action
- support for alternative UP+ paddle modules
- QR50 Quick Release included
- compatible with optional MagicDash 4 telemetry display
- configuration through SimPro Manager V3 and SimHub
- native support for Simagic Alpha EVO wheelbases
- support for older Alpha and selected third-party bases with the correct accessories
Simagic ZEUS GT 300 mm layout
The 300 mm size gives ZEUS GT a balanced feel. It is more relaxed than a narrow Formula rim, but it still reacts quickly when the driver turns into a chicane, corrects oversteer or changes direction at high speed.
This size works well in GT cars because the driver usually keeps both hands in a fixed position. The wheel does not need to spin freely through the hands like a rally or drift wheel. Instead, the focus is on precision, stability and fast access to controls.
The 300 mm diameter also helps control the output of a Direct Drive wheelbase. Force Feedback feels less nervous than it can on a very small wheel, while still giving clear information about tyre load, balance and grip loss.
ZEUS GT controls for race settings
The front panel of the Simagic ZEUS GT sim racing wheel gives the driver a useful set of controls without making the wheel feel crowded. The 10 RGB buttons can be assigned to radio, pit limiter, headlights, wipers, DRS, camera changes, car reset or pit-stop confirmation.
Button colours can be used to organise the layout. Pit functions may use one colour, communication another, while car settings can be grouped separately. After a few sessions, the driver can recognise many commands by position and colour instead of reading labels during braking.
The 3 rotary encoders are well suited to brake balance, ABS, traction control, engine maps, engine braking or dashboard pages. These settings are often changed during long GT and endurance races, especially as fuel load, tyres and track conditions change.
Seven-way switches and RGB shift lights
The two seven-way switches combine several inputs in a small space. They can be used for black box navigation, menu control, dashboard pages, pit-stop settings and strategy adjustments.
Above the main controls sits a 15-LED RGB shift-light strip. It can show engine RPM and shift points, but it can also react to supported telemetry data, race flags, warnings or vehicle systems.
With SimHub, the lighting can be adjusted to suit different cars and simulators. You can find more information about dashboard and telemetry configuration on the official SimHub website.
Hall paddles and UP+ modular design
ZEUS GT uses paddle shifters with Hall sensors. The movement is detected magnetically, which gives a consistent activation point and avoids relying on a traditional mechanical contact for every shift.
This is useful in endurance racing, where the wheel may be used for long sessions with thousands of gear changes. The paddles remain clear and predictable during relaxed stints as well as during aggressive downshifts before heavy braking zones.
The wheel is part of the UP+ modular system. This means the rear paddle layout can be changed later with compatible modules, allowing the same wheel to be adapted to a different car type or driving style.
MagicDash 4 support for ZEUS GT
MagicDash 4 is an optional telemetry display for the ZEUS GT. It can show gear, speed, engine RPM, lap times, tyre temperatures, fuel level, flags and other data supported by SimHub.
The screen is mounted directly to the wheel, so the most important information can stay close to the driver’s line of sight. This is especially useful in cockpits where the monitor or external dashboard sits low behind the wheelbase.
For MagicDash 4, the required communication accessory is Simagic AirLink. MagLink Pro and MagLink Pro Xtend are used for wheel connection and power in selected setups, but they do not replace AirLink for the display signal.
Simagic ZEUS GT with Alpha EVO wheelbases
Simagic ZEUS GT works natively with Simagic Alpha EVO wheelbases. In this configuration, the wheel does not need MagLink Pro or MagLink Pro Xtend for normal wheel communication.
After attaching the wheel to the QR50, the controls, lighting and paddles can be configured through SimPro Manager V3.
Simagic ZEUS GT with Alpha and third-party bases
ZEUS GT can also be used with earlier Simagic Alpha wheelbases, including Alpha Mini, Alpha and Alpha U. These setups require the correct connection accessory.
For older Alpha bases, the wheel can use Simagic MagLink Pro or Simagic MagLink Pro Xtend. These accessories provide the required connection and power for the wheel.
The Simagic ZEUS GT sim racing wheel can also be used with selected third-party Direct Drive wheelbases. In that case, MagLink Pro is used for wired wheel communication, while the mechanical side still needs the correct Quick Release, mounting adapter, bolt pattern and possibly a spacer.
A mechanical fit alone does not guarantee that every electronic function will work correctly. Before choosing adapters, check the exact wheelbase model, mounting system and communication method.
Who is the Simagic ZEUS GT for?
Simagic ZEUS GT is a strong choice for drivers focused on GT3, GT4, TCR, prototype and endurance racing. It gives enough controls for strategy, car settings and telemetry without forcing the driver into a Formula-style wheel shape.
It also suits users who want to expand their cockpit over time. The wheel can start as a clean GT setup, then later gain MagicDash 4, AirLink or alternative UP+ paddle modules.
With 300 mm ergonomics, RGB controls, Hall paddles, shift lights, QR50 and broad compatibility, Simagic ZEUS GT fits both new Alpha EVO systems and more customised sim racing setups.
