8 Nm with Boost Kit 180 included

The Direct Drive motor sends force feedback straight through the steering shaft. The included Boost Kit 180 power supply unlocks 8 Nm of peak torque, giving the base more range to reproduce front axle load, grip changes and impacts than the 5 Nm configuration.

FluxBarrier technology reduces magnetic flux leakage, while a high-resolution contactless Hall sensor reads the steering position without mechanical wear at the measuring point. The shaft uses carbon fibre-enhanced composite. Its aluminium housing works as a passive heat sink, so the base does not need a cooling fan.

QR2 Lite and cockpit mounting

QR2 Lite Base-Side Type-C is installed at the factory. A compatible QR2 Wheel-Side is required on the chosen steering wheel, with its permitted torque limit taken into account. The connection is designed for quick wheel changes and a firm fit on the steering shaft.

Rails on the sides and bottom accept the four supplied T-nuts, allowing their positions to be matched to a cockpit mounting plate. The base also supports selected Fanatec mounting accessories. A table clamp is not included and must be ordered separately when the setup does not have a rigid wheel deck.

FullForce and wheel base tuning

FullForce expands the force feedback signal with higher-frequency effects. It can provide extra information about surface texture and vehicle behaviour, but it requires wheel base firmware V1.5.1.2 or newer and direct implementation by the game being played.

Standard Tuning Menu presents the essential adjustments for a quick setup. Advanced mode opens a broader set of controls for force, damping and steering behaviour. Rotation can be set up to 2520 degrees or electronically limited to suit the selected car.

Connections for the Fanatec ecosystem

The rear panel provides dedicated ports for pedals, a handbrake and two shifting devices. The second shifter port supports sequential mode only. Connection to a console or PC uses the supplied USB Type-C to Type-A cable.

Threaded inserts on the front are intended for supported accessories such as the ClubSport Static Shifter Paddles. They are not mounting points for securing the entire wheel base to a cockpit from the front. The steering wheel, pedals, shifter and handbrake are selected separately for the intended setup.
