The Fanatec Podium DD delivers a sustained 25 Nm of torque and can briefly peak at up to 33 Nm. This gives it plenty of headroom between subtle feedback and the most powerful effects. Fanatec claims consistent performance even under demanding conditions, but this level of force requires a rigid sim racing rig and careful setup.

Second-Generation Direct Drive and FullForce Technology

The motor delivers force directly to the shaft, without belts or gears. FullForce adds high-frequency details with minimal latency, creating more precise and immersive feedback. The range of available effects depends on the selected profile and how the technology is implemented in each game.

Aluminium internals and QR2 Type-F

The motor shaft and front and rear bearing seats are aluminium, enclosed by a full-metal housing with diecast panels. The factory-installed QR2 Base-Side (Type-F) creates a rigid connection with the appropriate wheel-side fitting and supports hot-swapping.

Shaft extension and cockpit integration

The included 10 cm extension lets the base housing sit farther back while the steering wheel remains in the chosen position, making it easier to place a monitor lower and closer to the driver. Bottom and side T-nut rails offer flexible mounting points, while the port array integrates Fanatec pedals, shifter, and handbrake.
