The motor applies force without a belt or gearbox, preserving information from kerbs, changing grip and suspension movement. A 21-bit magnetic encoder recognises more than two million positions, while a 600 MHz processor handles input and Force Feedback calculations.

MOZA R5 Pro Racing Simulator – questions and answers

1. What is included with the MOZA R5 Pro Racing Simulator?

The bundle contains the R5 Pro Direct Drive base, 280 mm ES Lite wheel, SRP Lite2 pedals, desk clamp, power supply, cables and basic mounting hardware.

2. How much torque does the base produce?

The R5 Pro supplies 6 Nm of torque. It is primarily intended for compact rigs and a first Direct Drive setup.

3. Why does the 21-bit encoder matter?

More than two million positions let the base track steering angle accurately and reproduce smaller changes in Force Feedback.

4. Can the bundle be mounted on a desk?

Yes. A desk clamp is included. The wheelbase also supports bottom and front mounting on a compatible cockpit.

5. How many controls are on the ES Lite?

The wheel offers 22 programmable inputs, metal shift paddles and a ten-LED RGB rev indicator.

6. Do the pedals use Hall sensors?

Yes. The SRP Lite2 pedals use contactless Hall sensors and allow both lateral spacing and pedal-face height adjustment.

7. Can I add a clutch pedal?

9. Does the R5 Pro work on consoles?

10. Can I replace only the base later?

Yes. The bundle belongs to the MOZA ecosystem, so a future upgrade can use a stronger model from the MOZA Direct Drive base range, subject to accessory compatibility.
