Fanatec Podium Pedals Formula is a two-pedal sim racing set for Formula-style driving, with carbon-fibre pedal plates and heel cups. The Load Cell brake uses the Compression Control System for tool-free travel and resistance adjustment, while the Hall-sensor throttle offers independent travel and preload settings. The set connects directly to a Windows PC by USB or to a compatible Fanatec wheel base by RJ12.

Formula pedals with carbon-fibre components
Podium Pedals Formula combines a throttle and brake for two-pedal driving in open-wheel cars, prototypes and high-downforce machinery. The pedal plates and heel cups are made from carbon fibre. Side supports help prevent lateral foot movement, while the heel cup shape lets the foot rotate smoothly through the pedal stroke.
Pedal plate height and heel cup position can be adjusted to suit footwear and driving position. Two included grip stickers add traction underfoot. The black finish and anodised gold accents highlight the mechanical adjustment points.

Load Cell brake and Compression Control
The brake pedal arm and mid arm are made from forged aluminium. The Load Cell sensor is rated above 200 kg, while the system is calibrated for 150 kg of force at the pedal plate. These figures describe different things, so the sensor rating should not be read as the force applied by the driver's foot.
The Compression Control System adjusts travel and resistance without tools. Its threaded cups can almost eliminate pedal movement or create distinct stages of increasing resistance. They also keep the elastomers within their intended compression range. Included springs provide further ways to tune the brake feel.
Hall-sensor throttle and signal curves
The throttle has an aluminium structure, a bearing at its pivot and a factory-calibrated Hall sensor. Travel and preload can be adjusted independently without tools. The travel adjustment range is approximately 20 mm, and the standard resistance is deliberately firm.
The Fanatec App lets you select preset input curves, create a custom curve and adjust dead zones. These settings are saved to pedal memory and remain active when the set is connected to a compatible console through a Fanatec wheel base.

Mounting, connections and expansion
Each pedal has individual mounting points and a wide angle adjustment range, including inverted mounting on a suitable rig. The connection box supports RJ12 for a compatible Fanatec base and USB Type-C for standalone use on a Windows PC. Both cables can remain connected.
Optional accessories include the clutch module, GT-style pedal plates and the Podium Pedals Mounting Plate and Heel Rest. With this plate, choose one form of heel support: the included Formula carbon-fibre heel cups or the plate's steel heel rest, as they cannot be used together. The pedal assembly also has mounts for future haptic modules.

1. How many pedals are included?
Two: throttle and brake. The clutch module is a separate accessory.
2. What are the pedal plates and heel cups made of?
The Formula-style plates and contoured heel cups are made from carbon fibre. Two grip stickers are also included for added traction.
3. Does the brake accept over 200 kg at the pedal plate?
No. Above 200 kg is the Load Cell sensor rating; the brake is calibrated for 150 kg of force at the pedal plate.
4. What can be adjusted on the brake?
The Compression Control System adjusts travel and resistance without tools. Staggered positions of its threaded cups can create a linear feel or resistance that builds in stages.
5. Can the brake be made softer?
Yes. The included alternative springs change its feel: the blue springs are softer, while the green springs are the softest options listed by Fanatec.
6. Can the throttle also be adjusted without tools?
Yes. Throttle travel and preload are adjusted independently, with approximately 20 mm of travel adjustment.
7. Is the mounting plate with heel rest included?
No, it is sold separately. Its steel heel rest cannot be used at the same time as the carbon-fibre heel cups supplied with the Formula set.
8. Do the pedals work on PC without a wheel base?
Yes. They can operate as a standalone USB device on a Windows PC.
9. What is required for console use?
PlayStation requires a compatible PlayStation-licensed Fanatec base. Xbox requires a compatible base and an Xbox-licensed Fanatec steering wheel. The pedals connect to the base by RJ12.
10. Can a clutch be added later?
Yes. The compatible Podium Pedals clutch module is sold separately and is not part of this set.
11. How long is the warranty for Fanatec products?
Simline is the largest authorised seller of Fanatec in Poland and Europe. As an authorised Fanatec partner, all products from this brand are covered by full warranty protection for up to 5 years within the European Union, in accordance with Fanatec warranty terms.
