Fanatec CSL Pedals Clutch Kit adds a clutch to the CSL Pedals set. Its contactless Hall sensor reads pedal position at 12-bit resolution, with a stiffer spring than the throttle. Add a clutch for manual shifting

If your CSL Pedals currently have a throttle and brake, Clutch Kit adds the third pedal for clutch control. Your existing brake stays in service, so this upgrade does not require changing how you brake.

For H-pattern shifting, you will also need a separate shifter and a game that supports that control layout. This product contains the clutch and its mounting accessories, not a complete three-pedal set.

Pedal-position sensing without a potentiometer

A Hall sensor measures clutch travel without mechanical contact inside the sensor. The signal has 12-bit resolution, giving 4096 levels. It reads pedal position rather than pressure, unlike a load cell brake.

The spring is stiffer than the CSL Pedals throttle spring. The clutch also uses the wider pedal face found on the standard brake. Fanatec does not publish a full-travel force rating or specify an adjustable mechanical bite point.

Set the spacing and attach the clutch to the heel rest

The clutch bolts onto the shared CSL Pedals heel rest. Move it sideways to set the spacing and adjust the pedal-face height to suit your feet. Four M4×12 bolts and a T20 Torx key for this installation are included.

Do not trap the cable while assembling the parts. Route it through the holders beneath the heel rest, then plug the RJ12 connector into the throttle module's “Clutch” port. The quick guide shows the cable path.

Connect through CSL Pedals, not directly to your computer

Clutch Kit uses the CSL Pedals electronics and does not add a USB port. Connect the standard pedal set with its added clutch to a compatible Fanatec wheel base over RJ12. Console use requires a setup supported by that platform.

For standalone PC use, you need a separate ClubSport USB Adapter or the electronics supplied with the CSL Pedals Load Cell Kit. The USB adapter does not provide standalone pedal connectivity on consoles.

1. Which pedals does the Fanatec CSL Pedals Clutch Kit fit?

It is designed for Fanatec CSL Pedals. It is not a universal clutch for the CSL Elite or ClubSport pedal ranges.

2. Is this a complete three-pedal set?

No. You receive one clutch pedal, mounting bolts, a Torx key and a Quick Guide. The base CSL Pedals set is required separately.

3. What sensor does the clutch use?

A contactless 12-bit Hall sensor. It reads pedal position rather than pressure.

4. Does Clutch Kit add USB connectivity?
