RGB buttons and three rotary switches for car settings
Nine buttons are complemented by two D-pads near the thumbs and three 12-position rotary switches. Separate quick commands from adjustments such as brake bias or traction control, where the car and game make those functions available.
The rotary switches can also operate as encoders. Adjustable backlight colours and brightness help distinguish groups of controls. Interchangeable inserts and stickers let you label buttons to match your assignments.
A 1-inch OLED and wheel base settings within reach
The small OLED shows basic information such as current gear or speed in games supporting the relevant Fanatec SDK data. Display functionality is not identical across all games and platforms.
The Tuning button and D-pad provide Tuning Menu access. This lets you change available base settings from the wheel without returning to a software window each time. Hardware updates and configuration are performed on a Windows PC.

Front-of-rim mounting and a hub connection
The supplied ring mounts in front of a 6 × 70 mm rim, with four bolts securing the panel to it. The module does not add another layer between the rim and hub, so that connection does not need longer bolts to accommodate the panel.
DataPort-C connects it to a compatible Fanatec hub. Check spoke geometry and finger clearance when choosing a rim. The rim, hub and paddles are selected separately, allowing the finished wheel to suit your preferred diameter and shifting arrangement.

1. Is Podium Button Module Rally a complete steering wheel?
No. It is a control panel with a display. A compatible hub, rim and suitable QR system are separate purchases needed to assemble a wheel. A compatible Fanatec wheel base is also required to operate the setup.
2. Which hubs work with this module?
Podium Hub, ClubSport Universal Hub V2 and ClubSport Universal Hub V2 for Xbox. The module connects to the hub's DataPort-C. Compatibility of older hubs with other Fanatec panels should not be assumed to apply to Rally.
3. How many buttons and rotary controls does Podium Button Module Rally have?
Fanatec specifies nine RGB buttons, two D-pads and three rotary switches with 12 positions each. The D-pads and switches are additional control types, not part of the nine-button count.
4. Can I change the backlight colours and button labels?
Yes. Button and switch RGB backlighting has adjustable colours and brightness. Fanatec specifies FanaLab on PC for backlight configuration. Interchangeable inserts and stickers let you match the labels to assigned functions.
5. What does the OLED show?
The 1-inch OLED can show information such as gear or speed when the game supplies the relevant data through the Fanatec SDK. It also provides Tuning Menu access to wheel base hardware settings. It is not a large, full-telemetry dashboard.
6. Can the 12-position switches work as encoders?
Yes. They can select individual positions or act as encoders that increase and decrease a value. Assignments such as brake bias, traction control or engine maps depend on configuration and game support.
7. Will every rim with a 6 × 70 mm pattern fit?
No. The pattern is required, but spoke layout, rim profile and finger clearance must also be suitable. Check a third-party rim against the module and Fanatec's sizing template. Matching bolt holes alone are not enough.
8. How is the panel attached to a wheel?
The panel bolts to the supplied aluminium ring mounted in front of the rim. It does not sit between the rim and hub. Take care not to trap the cable during installation. See the Fanatec Podium Button Module Rally guide for the installation sequence.
9. Are shifter paddles included?
No. Podium Button Module Rally does not include shifter or clutch paddles. Paddle modules are selected separately to match the hub. The button panel does not replace a shifting mechanism.
10. Does the module support older ClubSport and CSL Elite bases?
Support should not be assumed. The current module page does not confirm ClubSport Wheel Base V2.5, CSL Elite Wheel Base V1.1 or CSL Elite Wheel Base+ support. For a base outside the confirmed list, obtain Fanatec confirmation for the specific model and firmware before buying.
11. How long is the warranty for Fanatec products?
Simline is the largest authorised seller of Fanatec in Poland and Europe. We are also a Fanatec Certified Partner and are listed in Fanatec's official directory of authorised resellers and certified partners. As an authorised Fanatec partner, all products from this brand are covered by full warranty protection for up to 5 years within the European Union, in accordance with Fanatec warranty terms.
12. How is the warranty for Fanatec products handled?
As an official Fanatec partner within the European Union, we handle valid warranty claims using a Door-to-Door service. Collection and return of the equipment are arranged according to the instructions provided by our support team.
13. How do I submit a warranty claim for a Fanatec product?
Simline.eu is an authorised Fanatec partner, so we act as an intermediary in the warranty process and handle customer claims. Email support@simline.eu or fanatec@simline.eu with a description of the fault and photos or videos showing the problem, then prepare and pack the equipment.
14. What does this module's Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S compatibility mean?
It can operate in a setup with ClubSport Universal Hub V2 for Xbox and a compatible base. The Xbox compatibility electronics are in the hub, not the Rally panel. Podium Hub does not add Xbox support. Extra inputs, display and lighting functions depend on the game and firmware.
15. What does this module's PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 compatibility mean?
It can operate through a compatible hub and an officially PlayStation-licensed Fanatec base. The base provides console compatibility. Available buttons, telemetry and other functions depend on the game, platform and firmware.
16. Does Podium Button Module Rally work on a Windows PC?
Yes, through a compatible Fanatec hub and wheel base. It is not a standalone USB controller. Fanatec software on PC handles configuration and updates, while functions available during driving depend on game support.
