Buttons and rotary controls for car adjustments

You get 10 buttons, two two-way toggle switches and two 12-position rotary switches. Assign functions such as the pit limiter, lights, traction control or brake bias where the car and game allow those settings to be changed.

The rotary switches can select a function at each position or work as encoders that increase and decrease a value. A separate analogue joystick provides two axes. The 7-way FunkySwitch combines directional movement, a push action and rotation. These are two different controls, not two names for the same joystick.

OLED telemetry and RGB status lights

The 2.7-inch OLED has a resolution of 256 × 64 pixels. ITM offers five telemetry layouts, switched manually or by a supported game. When ITM is unavailable, the display falls back to Legacy Mode.

Nine RevLEDs above the screen indicate engine speed. Two FlagLED groups, each with three RGB LEDs, provide additional signals at the sides. Available information depends on the game and configuration. ITM requires a Windows PC and the Fanatec App; the same telemetry features are not guaranteed on consoles.

Open the Tuning Menu from the wheel

A dedicated Tuning Menu button opens hardware settings on the module's display. Use the FunkySwitch to select a profile, move between parameters and change their values. You can adjust Force Feedback without switching to the software window, within the options supported by your base.

If you add a Podium Advanced Paddle Module to a compatible hub, the OLED can also show the clutch bite point. Paddle modules are not included with this product. Supplied stickers let you label button functions, and the removable caps can be replaced with compatible Fanatec caps.

Match the hub and check the space inside the rim

The panel fits between a compatible hub and a rim with a 6 × 70 mm pattern, using the supplied M5 × 25 bolts. It adds 11 mm between hub and rim. Clearance is tight near the bottom of an R300; check a third-party rim against Fanatec's sizing template.

Podium Hub and ClubSport Universal Hub V2 connect directly via DataPort-C. The RJ12 adapter is for the legacy Universal Hub for Xbox One. Universal Hub installation requires removal of its standard button clusters and FunkySwitch as instructed. This is not a standalone USB device.

1. Is Fanatec Podium Button Module Endurance a complete steering wheel?

No. It is a button panel with a display. A compatible hub, rim, matching quick release and any paddle modules are separate purchases. A compatible Fanatec wheel base is also required for operation.

2. How many buttons and rotary controls does it have?

It has 10 function buttons, two two-way toggles, two 12-position switches, a two-axis analogue joystick and a 7-way FunkySwitch. Hardware settings use a separate Tuning Menu button.

3. Which hubs work with Button Module Endurance?

Podium Hub, ClubSport Universal Hub V2, Universal Hub V2 for Xbox and the legacy Universal Hub for Xbox One. The first three connect directly via DataPort-C. The legacy Xbox One model requires the supplied RJ12 adapter.

4. Does any rim with a 6 × 70 mm pattern fit?

Not necessarily. That pattern is required, but the spokes and inner rim profile must also clear the module's controls. Fanatec lists ClubSport Wheel Rim GT as incompatible. Check third-party rims against Fanatec's sizing template.

5. Which display and LEDs are fitted?

A 2.7-inch OLED with 256 × 64 pixels, nine RGB RevLEDs and six RGB FlagLEDs arranged in two groups. Available data and light signals depend on the game and software.

6. What is ITM, and does it work on consoles?

Intelligent Telemetry Mode provides five data layouts. The current manual requires the Fanatec App on a Windows PC for ITM. Console compatibility does not confirm ITM support. The screen uses Legacy Mode when ITM is unavailable.

7. Can the rotary switches act as encoders?

Yes. Both 12-position switches can work as encoders that increase and decrease a value. Position-based modes, including pulse and constant signals, are also supported. Mode availability and usefulness depend on the game and configuration.

8. Can I connect the module directly to a computer's USB port?

No. DataPort-C connects to a compatible Fanatec hub, rather than providing a standalone computer USB connection. On PC, the assembled setup communicates through the wheel base.

9. Are the APM and its clutch paddles included?

No. Podium Advanced Paddle Module is a separate product. When it is installed on a compatible hub, Button Module Endurance can show the clutch bite point on its OLED.

10. What should I check during installation?

Use the supplied M5 × 25 bolts, allow for the extra 11 mm between hub and rim, and check finger clearance. Remove the Universal Hub's standard button clusters and FunkySwitch. Install its shifter paddles in the rearward mounting holes as instructed, and avoid trapping cables when closing a legacy hub.

11. How long is the warranty on Fanatec products?

Simline.eu is the largest authorised Fanatec partner in Poland and Europe. Fanatec products receive full warranty protection for up to 5 years within the European Union, in accordance with Fanatec warranty terms.

12. How are Fanatec warranty claims handled?

As an official Fanatec partner within the European Union, we handle valid warranty claims through Door-to-Door service. Collection and return of the equipment follow the instructions we provide.

13. How do I submit a warranty claim for a Fanatec product?

Simline.eu is an authorised Fanatec partner, so we act as an intermediary in the warranty process and handle claims. Email support@simline.eu or fanatec@simline.eu with a fault description and photos or videos showing the problem, then prepare and pack the equipment.

14. Does Podium Button Module Endurance work with Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S?

Yes, with ClubSport Universal Hub for Xbox One or ClubSport Universal Hub V2 for Xbox and a compatible base. The licensed Xbox electronics are in the hub, not this panel. Podium Hub does not provide Xbox support. Not every input or module feature is necessarily available on console.

15. Does Podium Button Module Endurance work with PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5?

Yes, as part of a setup with a compatible hub and a PlayStation-licensed Fanatec base. The base provides console compatibility. Available buttons, telemetry and other functions depend on the platform, game and firmware.

16. Is Podium Button Module Endurance compatible with PC?

Yes, with a Windows PC through a compatible Fanatec hub and base. Use supported Fanatec software for configuration, updates and ITM. Button, axis and rotary assignments depend on the game. The panel is not a standalone USB controller.
