Fanatec Podium Advanced Paddle Module adds six paddles to compatible wheels and hubs: four magnetic digital inputs and two analogue axes with Hall sensors. Supported modes include dual clutch with a bite point, or throttle and brake. GT and Formula carbon plates, spacers, bolts and Allen keys are included. The modules replace the original paddles and do not work as a standalone USB device.

Four magnetic inputs within finger reach
Each side of the wheel has two digital paddles. The main pair handles shifting, while the additional pair can operate DRS or another supported game function. You can keep the wheel's front buttons available for other assignments.
The digital mechanisms use magnets rather than steel springs and provide a distinct switching point. The modules replace the original paddle assemblies, so they turn with the steering wheel. They are not a stationary paddle set attached to the wheel base.

Dual clutch, or throttle and brake in your hands
The two lower paddles are analogue. Hall sensors read their position rather than just an on/off press. With a supported wheel, you can set and save a clutch bite point, then release one paddle at the start while continuing to control the clutch with the other.
Other modes provide clutch and handbrake, brake and throttle, or separately mappable analogue axes. The throttle-and-brake mode allows driving without foot pedals, provided the wheel and game support that control configuration.
Two carbon plate sets for GT and Formula wheels
The box includes plates for larger GT wheels and smaller Formula wheels. Choose the set that suits the rim diameter and your finger reach. Supplied spacers allow offset mounting of the middle plates as shown in the instructions.
The digital paddle plates use 3 mm carbon fibre, while the module cages are CNC-machined aluminium. The analogue paddles come with gold-anodised aluminium plates already attached. A 2 mm key and a 4 mm key are included; your particular wheel may require an additional tool.

Check the wheel model before replacing its modules
APM fits selected Fanatec wheels and hubs, not every rim from the brand. Installation involves removing the original modules, attaching the replacements and connecting them to the correct sockets on the wheel or hub electronics. The disassembly procedure depends on the model.
Avoid trapping cables when closing the housing. Update the wheel and base firmware before use; APM has no separate firmware of its own. Do not combine it with ClubSport Static Shifter Paddles, as the mechanisms can collide.

1. How many paddles does Fanatec Podium Advanced Paddle Module have?
Six: four magnetic digital paddles and two analogue clutch paddles. The set includes a left and a right module.
2. Does APM fit every Fanatec steering wheel?
No. It requires a compatible wheel or hub. Supported models include Podium Hub, Universal Hub V2, Formula V2.5 and V3, RS, BMW GT2 V2 and F1 Esports V2. Check the full compatibility table before ordering.
3. Which modes do the analogue paddles support?
On a supported wheel, there are four modes: dual clutch with bite point, clutch and handbrake, brake and throttle, and separately mappable analogue axes. Not every compatible wheel provides all four modes.
4. Can APM replace foot-operated throttle and brake pedals?
Yes, using the brake-and-throttle mode. The wheel must support this mode and the game must allow both axes to be assigned. The module does not replace the wheel base or steering wheel.
5. What materials are used for the modules and plates?
The cages are CNC-machined aluminium. The digital paddle plates are 3 mm carbon fibre, while the analogue clutch plates are gold-anodised aluminium.
6. Are both GT and Formula plates included?
Yes. Both sets are supplied, together with four spacers for offset mounting of the middle plates. Choose the set that suits the wheel size and your finger reach.
7. How does Podium Advanced Paddle Module connect?
The modules replace the original paddles and connect to the electronics inside a compatible wheel or hub. They do not plug directly into the base or a computer's USB port. Connector access and the tools needed depend on the wheel model.
8. Can I keep using ClubSport Static Shifter Paddles?
Do not use them together with APM. Fanatec warns that the mechanisms can collide. APM turns with the wheel, whereas Static Shifter Paddles remain attached to the base.
9. Are there limitations with the legacy Universal Hub for Xbox One?
Yes. Some units may show a deadzone on the APM analogue axes. This manufacturer warning does not affect the primary or secondary magnetic paddles.
10. Does APM need its own firmware update?
No. APM has no firmware of its own. Update the compatible Fanatec wheel and base using supported software on a Windows PC.
11. How long is the warranty on Fanatec products?
Simline.eu is the largest authorised Fanatec partner in Poland and Europe. Fanatec products receive full warranty protection for up to 5 years within the European Union, in accordance with Fanatec warranty terms. The period depends on the product. The current manufacturer warranty for a new Podium Advanced Paddle Module is 3 years.
12. How are Fanatec warranty claims handled?
As an official Fanatec partner within the European Union, we handle valid warranty claims through Door-to-Door service. Collection and return of the equipment follow the instructions we provide.
13. How do I submit a warranty claim for a Fanatec product?
Simline.eu is an authorised Fanatec partner, so we act as an intermediary in the warranty process and handle claims. Email support@simline.eu or fanatec@simline.eu with a fault description and photos or videos showing the problem, then prepare and pack the equipment.
14. Does Fanatec Podium Advanced Paddle Module work with Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S?
It can work as part of a compatible Fanatec setup. Xbox support comes from a wheel or hub containing officially licensed Xbox electronics, used with a compatible base. APM itself does not add an Xbox licence. Additional inputs and axes depend on the wheel, game and current firmware.
15. Does Fanatec Podium Advanced Paddle Module work with PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5?
It can work with a compatible wheel or hub and a PlayStation-compatible Fanatec base. In this ecosystem, PlayStation support comes from the base, not the paddle module. Button and axis support also depends on the game.
16. Is Fanatec Podium Advanced Paddle Module compatible with PC?
Yes, through a compatible Fanatec wheel or hub and a base connected to a Windows PC. APM has no standalone USB connection. Hardware updates require supported Fanatec software, while paddle assignments depend on the wheel and game.
