Two knob shapes for your ClubSport Shifter

ClubSport Shifter Carbon Knobs Kit replaces the knob on a compatible Fanatec shifter with either a round H-pattern shape or an elongated SQ shape. Both knobs are included, so there is no need to pick just one version when ordering.

The kit is an accessory for an existing device such as the Fanatec ClubSport Shifter SQ V1.5. It does not include the gear shift mechanism. Check your shifter model against the compatibility list above.

Matte carbon fibre over a metal core

Both knobs feature a hand-crafted layer of real carbon fibre with a matte finish. A metal core beneath that layer gives each knob its weight: 220 g for the round version and 141 g for the SQ version.

This is a carbon outer layer over a weighted core, rather than a knob made entirely from lightweight composite. If you prefer the heavier of the two supplied options for an H-pattern gate, choose the round knob.

Round for H-pattern, SQ for either shifting style

The round knob is intended primarily for H-pattern shifting. The SQ version has an elongated shape, but it is noticeably shorter and narrower than the standard Fanatec metal SQ knob. This matters if the existing long knob does not suit the way you hold the lever.

Fanatec also recommends the smaller SQ knob for H-pattern use. You can therefore choose its shape around your preferred grip, regardless of the SQ name. Changing the knob itself does not change the operating mode of the shifter mechanism.

The knob screws onto an M12 x 1.5 thread in a clockwise direction. Tighten it by hand only, without overtightening or using thread-locking fluid. Turn the knob anticlockwise to remove it.

The thread standard does not imply universal compatibility: the manual prohibits fitting these knobs to third-party shifters. After installation, clean the surface with a clean, damp cloth and water only, without chemical additives.
