DisplayDash on an aluminium profile rig

Heusinkveld DisplayDash Mount attaches the DisplayDash panel to an aluminium profile cockpit frame. Choose a mounting point on the rig, then set the panel position to suit your seating position. DisplayDash is a separate device and is not included with the mount.

Before installation, check housing clearance, access to the controls and the route into your cockpit. When positioning DisplayDash below the main monitor, its manual recommends the side opposite the driver entry, particularly in commercial simulators.

A 150 mm arm and two adjustable joints

The aluminium profile arm measures 150 mm and has M8 threads at both ends. Two joints let you adjust the mount position and the angle of the plate carrying the panel. The profile length does not represent the total reach of the assembled mount.

The manufacturer schematic shows joint adjustment with a 5 mm Allen key: loosen, change the angle and tighten again. Set the position from the driving seat, then check the connections before use. The cap covers the free profile end when it is not connected to a joint.

VESA 100 x 100 mm and the DisplayDash screws

The mounting plate uses a VESA 100 x 100 mm pattern matching Heusinkveld DisplayDash. Attach the plate to the panel with the M4 screws supplied with the display. These screws should not be counted as additional contents of the Mount kit.

Check screw insertion depth when fitting DisplayDash: the manufacturer specifies a 10 mm thread depth and warns against exceeding it. This measurement applies to the part of the screw entering the device, rather than its overall length. A matching VESA pattern does not automatically make the mount suitable for another screen.

Assembly hardware for your cockpit frame

The kit contains the arm, two joints, VESA plate, end cap and mount assembly hardware. Compare the hardware with the profile slots in your cockpit before installation. The supplied manufacturer schematic shows how to connect the arm, joints and plate.

7. Where do I get the screws for attaching DisplayDash?

8. How far can the screws enter DisplayDash?

9. Does the mount need USB or software?

No. DisplayDash Mount is a mechanical accessory. USB connection and software setup apply to the separately purchased DisplayDash panel.
