The Fanatec ClubSport Universal Hub V2 for Xbox QR2 combines electronics, buttons and magnetic shifters for building a steering wheel with a separately chosen rim. It accepts 6 × 70 mm or 3 × 50 mm rim mounting patterns and enables Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S support through a compatible Fanatec wheel base. It includes four adjustable button clusters, a FunkySwitch and a three-digit LED display.

Magnetic shifters adjusted to your rim
The preinstalled ClubSport Magnetic Paddle Module uses neodymium magnets to give each shift a distinct actuation point. Its cage is made from CNC-machined aluminium, while the black anodised aluminium paddle plates are 3 mm thick.
Small and large paddle plates and spacers let you adjust their reach to suit the rim's size and position. The standard module handles gear changes, not analogue clutch input. A separately available Podium Advanced Paddle Module is the upgrade for a dual-clutch configuration.
Adjustable button clusters and replaceable caps
Four external clusters provide three buttons each. Adjustable arms let you bring them closer to the grips, while interchangeable caps offer Xbox symbols or racing-style labels. Their positions can be adapted to the chosen rim.
The clusters can also be removed, leaving the controls on top of the hub available. Fanatec lists 16 top-mounted button controls, including directional inputs. The external buttons duplicate some of these functions, so their physical count does not represent the same number of independent in-game commands.

FunkySwitch, LED display and platform support
The FunkySwitch combines four directions, push input and a rotary encoder. It makes navigating the Tuning Menu and changing compatible base settings straightforward. The three-digit LED display shows settings and supported telemetry, with upright or flat positioning.
The hub's electronics provide Xbox licensing. On PC it operates through a compatible Fanatec base, while PlayStation requires a base licensed for that platform. Button and display functionality depends on the game and software. DataPort-C connects compatible Fanatec modules, not USB devices.

1. Is the Universal Hub V2 a complete steering wheel?
No. It is a hub with electronics, buttons, a display and shifter paddles. QR2 Wheel-Side is included, but the rim and compatible Fanatec wheel base are sold separately.
2. Which rims fit this hub?
Rims with a 6 × 70 mm or 3 × 50 mm mounting pattern and suitable geometry. These include compatible Fanatec rims and selected MOMO, Sparco and OMP models. A deeply dished rim can make the buttons and paddles harder to reach even when its bolt pattern fits.
3. How many buttons and rotary controls does the hub have?
Fanatec lists 16 integrated top-mounted button controls and four external clusters with three buttons each. A rotary FunkySwitch and Tuning Menu button are also provided. Some functions are duplicated, and the top controls include a D-pad, so these should not be described as 28 independent assignments. There are no separate side rotary controls.
4. Is QR2 included, and does it fit a QR1 base?
Metal QR2 Wheel-Side is included in a separate package. It does not connect directly to QR1 Base-Side. The wheel base needs a matching QR2 system. The 6 × 70 mm and 3 × 50 mm patterns refer to rim mounting, not the QR interface.
5. Which paddles are included, and are there clutch paddles?
The preinstalled ClubSport Magnetic Paddle Module provides two magnetic shifters. Small and large paddle plates and spacers are included. There are no analogue clutch paddles; adding them requires the separately sold Podium Advanced Paddle Module.
6. Does the hub have an OLED display and RevLEDs?
It has neither an OLED nor a separate RevLED strip. A three-digit LED display shows Tuning Menu settings and supported game data. The display is removable and can sit upright or flat. Telemetry support depends on the game, platform and software.
7. Can the button positions be adjusted to suit the rim?
Yes. The four external clusters use adjustable mounting arms and can also be disconnected. Integrated controls remain on top of the hub. Interchangeable caps let you replace the Xbox symbols with racing-style labels.
8. Can DataPort-C connect the hub through USB?
No. DataPort-C is not USB and must not be connected to a computer or console. It supports compatible Fanatec modules such as the Podium Button Module Endurance and Podium Button Module Rally. The hub communicates with the platform through the wheel base.
9. Can the hub be upgraded?
Yes. Options include the Podium Advanced Paddle Module, a fifth button cluster and compatible Podium modules connected through DataPort-C. These are sold separately. Check clearance around the chosen rim and feature support on your platform before adding accessories.
10. How do I adjust Force Feedback and update the hub?
Settings for a compatible wheel base are available through the Tuning Menu, operated with the FunkySwitch or top-mounted D-pad. Updates use the base connected to a Windows PC and current Fanatec software. The hub does not generate Force Feedback itself; that comes from the motor in the wheel base.
11. How long is the warranty for Fanatec products?
Simline is the largest authorised seller of Fanatec in Poland and Europe. We are also a Fanatec Certified Partner and are listed in Fanatec's official directory of authorised resellers and certified partners. As an authorised Fanatec partner, all products from this brand are covered by full warranty protection for up to 5 years within the European Union, in accordance with Fanatec warranty terms.
12. How is the warranty for Fanatec products handled?
As an official Fanatec partner within the European Union, we handle valid warranty claims using a Door-to-Door service. Collection and return of the equipment are arranged according to the instructions provided by our support team.
13. How do I submit a warranty claim for a Fanatec product?
Simline.eu is an authorised Fanatec partner, so we act as an intermediary in the warranty process and handle customer claims. Email support@simline.eu or fanatec@simline.eu with a description of the fault and photos or videos showing the problem, then prepare and pack the equipment.
14. What enables Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S compatibility?
The Xbox-licensed electronics are inside the hub. Combined with a compatible Fanatec wheel base and matching QR, they enable Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S operation. Button, encoder and display support also depends on the game, firmware and platform limitations.
15. Can the for Xbox version work on PlayStation?
Yes, through a compatible PlayStation-licensed Fanatec base, such as Gran Turismo DD Pro or ClubSport DD+. The base provides PlayStation licensing, not the hub. Attaching this hub does not make the ClubSport DD without the plus sign PlayStation-compatible.
16. Does the hub work on a Windows PC?
Yes, through a compatible Fanatec wheel base connected to the PC. It is not a standalone USB controller. The available settings and functions depend on the base, current software and game support.
