Six colours and every wheelbase mount available

Simgasm Hobby Colour combines six frame finishes on a single product page. Orange, blue, green, purple, red and gold allow the cockpit to be coordinated with the seat, electronics, room or remaining simulator components without changing its geometry.

The configurator follows two steps. First select the colour, then the wheel-base mount. Six colours and four mounting options create 24 configurations, each retaining the 40 × 40 mm main profile, adjustable construction and the same pedal-plate rating.

Four ways to install the wheel base

Bottom Mount uses threaded points underneath the wheel-base housing and covers the broadest range of compatible devices. Front Mount supports the wheel base through compatible points on its front, while Side Mount uses threaded points on the sides. The separate Asetek Front Mount variant is prepared for compatible La Prima, Forte and Invicta wheel bases.

Select the mount for the exact model, not only the brand. Different products from the same manufacturer may use different hole patterns. Choosing the correct variant allows the wheel base to be installed without adding unplanned adapters to the basic set.

Anodised profiles with a premium-grade finish

Most aluminium profiles in the set are anodised. Their surfaces are carefully prepared and processed for even colour, clearly defined profile geometry and a standard of finish expected from a premium-grade product.

Anodising is not simply a coat of paint applied over aluminium. The surface treatment creates a coherent profile finish and emphasises the technical character of the construction. Metal brackets and mounting components reinforce the frame where rigid connections are required.

Compact frame for a GT or Formula-style position

The 40 × 40 mm main profile creates a compact foundation for a first permanently assembled simulator. Profile slots allow the steering, pedal and seat-mounting sections to be repositioned, so the setup can be matched to the driver's height and preferred GT or Formula-style position.

The pedal plate is rated for up to 150 kg of braking force. The included Core arm prepares the side of the cockpit for a compatible shifter or handbrake. The seat, slider, electronics, pedals and display system are sold separately, allowing the simulator to be built in stages.

1. What is the Simgasm Hobby Colour?

It is a compact modular sim racing cockpit built from 40 × 40 mm aluminium profiles. A single product page combines six frame colours with four wheel-base mounting options.

2. In what order are the options selected?

First select an orange, blue, green, purple, red or gold cockpit. Then choose Bottom Mount, Front Mount, Side Mount or Asetek Front Mount to suit the wheel base.

3. Does the colour change the cockpit construction or specifications?

No. All six colours use the same Hobby geometry, 40 × 40 mm main profile and pedal plate rated for up to 150 kg of braking force. The colour changes the visual profile finish.

4. How do I choose the correct wheel-base mount?

Compare the exact wheel-base model and its threaded mounting layout with the compatibility table. Bottom Mount uses holes underneath the housing, Front Mount uses points on the front, Side Mount uses threaded points on the sides, and Asetek Front Mount is designed for compatible Asetek wheel bases.

5. Does Asetek Front Mount fit every wheel base?

No. This variant is designed for compatible Asetek La Prima, Forte and Invicta wheel bases. Select the appropriate bottom, front or side mount for products from other brands.

6. Are the aluminium profiles anodised?

Most profiles in the set have an anodised finish. Their surfaces are carefully prepared and processed for an even appearance, refined edges and a standard of finish suited to a premium-grade product.

7. Which driving position can be configured?

Height, depth and angle adjustment allows a conventional GT position or a Formula-style layout to be created. The final geometry also depends on the selected seat, its brackets and pedal position.

8. What load can the pedal plate support?

The manufacturer specifies a rated braking force of up to 150 kg. The mounting-hole pattern of the selected pedal set must also be checked before installation.

9. Are the seat and electronics included?

No. The seat, slider, wheel base, steering wheel, pedals, shifter, handbrake, monitor and display stand are selected separately. A Core arm for a compatible shifter or handbrake is included.

10. Can the cockpit be expanded later?

Yes. The profile system supports additions such as seat sliders, display mounts, a keyboard tray, mouse plate, PC shelf and cable-management parts. Match each accessory to the Hobby profile and the planned cockpit layout.

11. How long is the warranty for Simgasm products?
