SIMGASM Club Silver - an engineering-led 40 x 80 mm chassis

SIMGASM Club Silver combines 40 x 80 mm aluminium profiles with a natural technical finish that makes the chassis geometry part of the design. Black wheelbases, pedals and seats create strong contrast, while metallic hardware supports a coherent, engineering-led appearance.

The assembled chassis measures 580 x 1350 x 700 mm. Club sits between the compact Hobby range and the more extensively equipped Sport platform, adding wheelbase and braking headroom without moving to a 40 x 120 mm main profile. Alternative sizes and layouts are available under sim racing cockpits.

40 x 80 mm profiles and adjustable GT or Formula geometry

The main structure of the SIMGASM Club Silver uses 40 x 80 mm aluminium profiles. Their slots allow the steering section, pedal deck and seat mounting points to move in depth, height and angle, letting the driving position be built around the user. The cockpit itself weighs 20.5 kg.

The layout can be arranged for an upright GT posture or moved towards a lower Formula-style position. The final range also depends on the seat, slider and brackets, which are not supplied with the chassis. Suitable options can be compared under sim racing seats.

Four wheelbase mounts for systems up to 26 Nm

One wheelbase mounting system is selected when ordering the SIMGASM Club Silver. Bottom Mount uses threads beneath the housing. The regular Front Mount serves compatible Fanatec, Simucube and VRS bases, while Side Mount uses the side points of selected Fanatec, MOZA, SIMAGIC and Conspit models. Asetek Front Mount is a separate layout for supported Asetek hardware.

SIMGASM recommends the Club tier for wheelbases rated up to and including 26 Nm. Matching bolt holes do not make a higher-output base suitable for this chassis. Confirm the complete wheelbase name, mounting layout and rated torque before ordering. Current hardware can be reviewed under Direct Drive wheelbases.

200 kg pedal-deck rating, Core arm and room to expand

The pedal deck carries a stated braking-load rating of up to 200 kg. This figure describes force applied to the pedal platform, not driver weight. It provides useful reserve for many load-cell sets, although the bolt pattern of the pedals still has to match the deck.

The package contains the silver profiles, structural brackets, one selected wheelbase mount, a Core side arm for a compatible shifter or handbrake, bolts, tools, assembly guide and white gloves. The seat, slider, wheelbase, wheel, pedals, shifter, handbrake, display and monitor stand are separate purchases.

A keyboard arm, mouse tray, cable-management parts and display structure can be added as the simulator develops. Suitable modules are available under sim rig accessories and TV and monitor stands.

SIMGASM Club Silver - questions and answers

1. What is the SIMGASM Club Silver?

It is a modular sim racing cockpit built from 40 x 80 mm aluminium profiles. The silver version has no additional livery and forms a permanent chassis for a separately selected seat and driving hardware.

2. Which wheelbase mounts can be selected?

Available layouts are Bottom Mount, Front Mount, Side Mount and Asetek Front Mount. The package contains the single option selected for the order, not all four systems.

3. What Direct Drive torque is recommended for the Club tier?

SIMGASM assigns the Club range to wheelbases rated up to and including 26 Nm. Hardware above 26 Nm requires a Sport or Pro cockpit or in case of avoiding clipping You can buy for example even 40 Nm wheelbase but reduce torque for 26 Nm. Any wheelbase torque is compatible, just set torque not exceeding higher than 26 Nm.

4. Does the regular Front Mount fit a SIMAGIC wheelbase?

No. The standard Front Mount is intended for supported Fanatec, Simucube and VRS models. Compatible SIMAGIC bases should be checked against Bottom Mount or Side Mount.

5. Are the seat and slider included?

No. The seat, slider and side brackets are separate components. Available options can be reviewed under sim racing seats.

6. Is a shifter support supplied?

Yes. A Core side-profile arm is included for a compatible shifter or handbrake. The control device itself is not part of the cockpit package.

7. What is the assembled footprint?

The frame measures 580 mm wide, 1350 mm long and 700 mm high. Allow additional room for the seat, display, cables and comfortable entry into the cockpit.

8. Can the pedal deck take load-cell pedals?

It is rated for braking loads up to 200 kg, providing useful reserve for many load-cell sets. The pedal bolt pattern must still match the available holes in the deck.

9. Is the cockpit compatible with PC, Xbox and PlayStation?

The chassis is passive and does not determine platform support. PC or console compatibility comes from the fitted wheelbase, steering wheel, pedals and their connection method.

10. Can the SIMGASM Club Silver be expanded later?

Yes. The profile slots accept compatible monitor, keyboard and mouse supports along with other sim rig accessories.
