A black flagship cockpit for a staged high-end build

SIMGASM Pro Black sits at the top of the cockpit range. Its 40 x 160 mm main profile and steel reinforcement at load-bearing points form a base for demanding Direct Drive equipment, firm braking and later expansion. SIMGASM directs wheelbases above 40 Nm toward Pro but publishes no certified upper torque limit.

Black keeps a multi-brand installation visually consistent and leaves the display, telemetry and steering hardware as the focal points. This suits a dedicated training room or camera-facing streaming setup. Compare other sizes under sim racing cockpits.

The 45 kg mass reflects deeper profiles and substantial connecting hardware. This helps hold the steering axis during sudden countersteer and supports the pedal deck under hard braking. The deck carries a 300 kg rated braking load, although the pedal set must still match its holes.

A high-torque wheelbase need not run at 100 percent. Motor reserve allows a lower safe strength while preserving headroom and reducing clipping. Driver output and game gain matter more than chasing the maximum number. Match current Direct Drive wheelbases to the correct bracket.

Plan cable zones and motion before fitting electronics

Pro routes wiring through front, centre and rear passthrough zones. Wheelbase, pedal, accessory and power cables can be separated before the controls are fixed in place, reducing loose loops near adjustable hardware. The dark frame also makes exposed harness sections less prominent.

Motion readiness describes the chassis architecture, not included actuators. The controller, drives and system-specific parts remain separate, so the rig can begin as a static platform and grow later. Trays and supports are available under sim rig accessories.

Select Bottom, Front, Side or Asetek Front Mount. Regular Front Mount covers listed Fanatec, Simucube and VRS patterns. SIMAGIC Alpha EVO wheelbases can mount at the front with the SIMAGIC MB-F, while Asetek uses its dedicated option.

Profiles, brackets, the selected mount, Apex arm, heel rest, feet, fasteners, tools, gloves and guide are included. Seat, slider, controls, display, stand and motion are separate. Complete the position with sim racing seats and plan the screen through TV and monitor stands.

SIMGASM Pro Black - wheelbase mount compatibility
Variant Compatible models and families Important note
Bottom Mount Logitech G25, G27, G29, G920, G923, G Pro and RS50; Fanatec CSL DD 5/8 Nm, GT DD Pro 8 Nm, ClubSport DD 15 Nm, DD+ 18 Nm and Podium DD 25 Nm; MOZA R3, R5, R5 Pro, R9 V3, R12 V2, R21 Ultra and R25 Ultra; SIMAGIC Alpha Mini, Alpha, Alpha U, Alpha EVO Sport, Alpha EVO, Alpha EVO Pro and Alpha EVO Ultra, Simucube 3 Sport, Simucube 3 Pro and Simucube 3 Ultimate; Asetek La Prima, Forte and Invicta; VRS DFP15, uDFP20 and DFP20; PXN VD4, VD6, VD10 and V12/V12 Pro; Thrustmaster T248, T300/TX/TS-XW, T500, T598 and T818; Conspit ARES 12 and ARES 20 Platinum. Uses underside threads. Compare the plate with the exact wheelbase revision. Compatibility depends on the bolt pattern and selected bracket. SIMGASM guides bases above 40 Nm toward Pro but publishes no upper limit.
Front Mount Fanatec CSL DD 5/8 Nm, GT DD Pro 8 Nm, ClubSport DD 15 Nm, DD+ 18 Nm and Podium DD 25 Nm; Simucube 2 Sport, Pro and Ultimate plus Simucube 3 Sport, Simucube 3 Pro and Simucube 3 Ultimate; VRS DFP15, uDFP20 and DFP20. The regular Front Mount does not fit SIMAGIC or replace the Asetek system. SIMGASM publishes no upper Pro torque limit; compatibility still depends on the bracket.
Side Mount Fanatec CSL DD 5/8 Nm, GT DD Pro 8 Nm, ClubSport DD 15 Nm, DD+ 18 Nm and Podium DD 25 Nm; MOZA R16 Ultra, R21 Ultra and R25 Ultra; SIMAGIC Alpha Mini, Alpha, Alpha U, Alpha EVO Sport, Alpha EVO, Alpha EVO Pro and Alpha EVO Ultra; Conspit ARES 20 Platinum. Uses side housing points. Match the bracket to the exact model, not just its brand.
Front Mount + SIMAGIC MB-F SIMAGIC Alpha EVO Sport, Alpha EVO, Alpha EVO Pro and Alpha EVO Ultra with the SIMAGIC MB-F adapter. The adapter uses the wheelbase side points and converts them to front mounting. The regular Front Mount alone does not attach Alpha EVO bases directly.
Asetek Front Mount Asetek La Prima 12 Nm, Forte 18 Nm and Invicta 27 Nm. This is the dedicated Asetek system. This separate standard is not replaced by the regular Front Mount.

SIMGASM Pro Black - questions and answers

1. How does Pro Black differ from Sport?

Pro uses 40 x 160 mm profiles and steel reinforcement, while Sport uses a 40 x 120 mm structure. Both retain the 300 kg pedal rating, cable routing and motion readiness.

2. Is 40 Nm a Pro limit?

No. SIMGASM directs wheelbases above 40 Nm toward Pro but publishes no certified maximum. It is a range-selection threshold.

3. Must a stronger wheelbase run at 100 percent?

No. Higher nominal torque provides headroom, while driver output and game gain should be tuned to reduce clipping and retain control.

4. What are its size and weight?

The frame measures 600 x 1350 x 890 mm and weighs 45 kg. Add the seat, access space and display when planning the room.

5. Can Front Mount support SIMAGIC?

Yes. Alpha EVO Sport, EVO, EVO Pro and EVO Ultra can use the SIMAGIC MB-F adapter.

6. Which mount is intended for Asetek?

La Prima, Forte and Invicta use Asetek Front Mount. The regular front bracket is not a substitute.

7. Does the deck fit every pedal set?

No. The 300 kg figure describes braking load; the bolt pattern must match directly or through an adapter.

8. Is motion included?

No. Actuators, controller, power hardware and system-specific parts are separate.

9. What arrives in the two boxes?

Profiles, brackets, selected mount, Apex arm, heel rest, feet, fasteners, tools, gloves and guide.

10. Are the seat and display included?

No. The seat, slider, electronics, display and stand are separate.
