A foldable stand for use with a regular chair

Wheel Stand Lite 2.0 provides mounting points for a wheelbase, pedals and shifter without taking up the permanent floor space of a full cockpit. After a session, the uprights fold down, the chair cradle lifts and the supplied straps secure the frame for storage. At 11.7 kg, the stand is easier to move than a complete rig with a fixed seat.

Much of the frame arrives pre-assembled. The remaining work covers the wheel plate, shifter support, chair cradle and racing hardware. When open, the stand measures 73 x 57 cm, with an adjustable height of 67 to 75 cm. Next Level Racing does not publish its dimensions in the folded position.

Wheel and pedal position adjustment

The wheel plate can be adjusted for height, distance and angle. The pedal platform slides horizontally and supports angle adjustment. Next Level Racing specifies a supported driver-height range of 150 to 210 cm, although the final driving position also depends on chair height and the dimensions of the installed wheelbase.

Once the controls are mounted, check that the shoulders remain supported, the elbows are slightly bent and the leg does not fully straighten at maximum pedal travel. Changing the wheel and pedal plate angles requires the relevant bolts to be loosened, the part repositioned and the connections tightened again.

Chair cradle and left or right shifter position

The Gaming Chair Cradle sits behind the pedal platform and captures the wheels of a gaming chair. It helps prevent the chair from rolling away from the controls under heavier braking. The cradle is intended for wheeled chairs, so a chair with fixed legs should be checked for suitable positioning before use.

The shifter plate can be installed on the left or right. Four levelling feet and cable-management straps are also included. The straps organise wiring and secure the frame after folding. A handbrake needs a matching hole pattern or the separately available Next Level Racing Universal Handbrake Plate.

Wheelbases up to 10 Nm and an upgrade path

Next Level Racing rates the stand for wheelbases up to 10 Nm and up to 30 kg of installed electronics. Its mounting pattern supports selected hardware from MOZA, Fanatec, Logitech, Thrustmaster, Simagic, Cammus and Asetek. A matching bolt pattern on a stronger wheelbase does not mean the stand is approved for that wheelbase's full torque.

The Wheel Stand Lite 2.0 Victory Seat Add-On converts the stand into a complete GT cockpit. Compatible options also include selected free-standing monitor mounts, floor mats, lockable castors and the Universal Handbrake Plate. A seat, wheelbase, steering wheel, pedals, shifter and other electronics are not included.
