1. What is the MOZA HMA150?
It is a motion-actuator system designed to move a complete cockpit. The standard platform uses four actuators and three degrees of freedom.
2. Which movements can it reproduce?
The 3DOF configuration reproduces pitch, roll and heave: front-to-back tilt, side-to-side tilt and vertical movement.
3. How much travel does each actuator provide?
Each HMA150 supplies 150 mm of travel and speeds up to 300 mm/s, combining large movement with rapid response.
4. How much weight can the system carry?
Maximum platform payload is 350 kg. The total must include the user, seat, frame and every mounted component.
5. Can the HMA150 generate vibration?
Yes. The system can reproduce haptic frequencies up to 200 Hz for engine texture, kerbs and road detail in addition to platform movement.
6. What is AI Motion used for?
AI Motion analyses video and audio in games without complete native telemetry. It complements direct profiles, although results vary by title.
7. Which aluminium profiles are compatible?
The system is designed for 4080, 40120 and 40160 profiles. A closed centre channel on 40120 or 40160 requires the matching adapter.
8. Can it be installed on a tubular cockpit?
Current documentation does not confirm tubular-cockpit support. Treat that installation as unsupported until a dedicated solution is released.
9. Which safety features are included?
The system includes an emergency stop and controlled descent. Users must also keep a clear area around the actuators and never place limbs beneath the moving cockpit.
10. How is the HMA150 different from a haptic pad?
The HMA150 moves the complete cockpit and adds vibration. The Next Level Racing HF8 Pro delivers eight zones of seat vibration but does not change the platform position.
