Qubic System QS-CH2 is a 2DOF motion platform that reproduces surge and yaw, including acceleration, braking, oversteer and traction loss. It is available with a QS-MC6 controller for standalone operation or without the controller for expanding a system that already has QS-MC6. Combined with QS-210 or QS-220, it creates a 5DOF configuration.

Surge and yaw under the complete cockpit

The QS-CH2 moves the whole structure rather than only the seat. Surge communicates braking and acceleration, while yaw rotation reproduces direction change and rear-axle slip.

A ±50 mm surge range and ±7.2° yaw range provide a distinct effect without requiring a full 6DOF platform.

Traction loss for rally, GT and drift

Yaw motion helps identify the start and direction of oversteer. It is useful in rally, drift and circuit training because the entire cockpit and the driver’s body move together.

The exact effect depends on game telemetry and Qubic Manager settings. Intensity should complement the information from the steering wheel rather than replace it.

Standalone 2DOF or part of a 5DOF system

Choose the variant with QS-MC6 for a standalone setup. The controller-free version is intended for expanding a system that already has QS-MC6, such as a configuration with QS-210 or QS-220. Shared control then adds surge and yaw to heave, roll and pitch.

Switch configuration and cable order must follow the wiring diagram for the selected layout in the manufacturer’s manual.

Installation, anchoring and safety zone

The platform weighs 160 kg and moves the complete station, so the floor, adapters and cockpit mounts must withstand substantial dynamic loads. Included plates support floor anchoring.

The full motion path, cables and access to MOTION-LOCK must be checked before use. Loose items, pets and bystanders must remain outside the operating zone.

1. What is the Qubic System QS-CH2?

It is a 2DOF platform positioned under the cockpit, moving the complete structure in surge and rotating it in yaw.

2. Which effects does it reproduce?

Primarily acceleration, braking, rear-axle slip, oversteer and traction loss.

3. Can the QS-CH2 operate independently?

Yes, but it requires a separate QS-MC6 set with the M10 controller and MOTION-LOCK Switch.
