The Motion & Shakers category covers everything that turns sim racing from something you watch on a screen into something your whole body experiences. Engine vibration, slides, wheel lock-up jolts, cornering g-forces — these are the sensations that dramatically raise the level of immersion and realism in your simulator. Simline's range in this area is split into three subcategories:

Bass Shakers – Dayton Audio tactile transducers mounted directly to the rig frame or seat. Engine, brakes, road surface — all felt through your body, not just heard through speakers.
Actuators – motion systems that physically reproduce the car's movements: lateral roll, longitudinal pitch and yaw. For those who want to genuinely feel how the car handles in the simulator.

Each of these elements works independently and can be added to an existing setup gradually. You can start with a single shaker under the seat and build up to a full motion system over time.

Where to start building an immersive sim racing setup?

Adding haptics and motion to a sim racing rig doesn't require a large one-off investment. It's a natural progression you can take in stages — each step delivers a noticeable improvement in what you feel during a session.

Stage 1 – Bass Shakers: vibration through the rig

Bass shakers are the best entry point into sim racing haptics. Dayton Audio tactile transducers mounted under the seat or on the rig frame convert audio signals into physical vibrations felt throughout the body — engine note, gear changes, ABS pulsing, rear-end slides. Stage 2 – Accessories: haptic platform and environmental effects

If you're looking for a ready-made, multi-zone solution, the Next Level Racing HF8 Pro is an 8-zone haptic platform that mounts under the seat with dedicated software for mapping each zone independently. The Nitro Concepts wind fan complements it by responding to in-simulator speed and simulating airflow around the driver.

Stage 3 – Actuators: full physical movement of the car

Motion systems are the most significant upgrade — a 3DOF motion platform physically reproduces the car's roll, pitch and g-forces in real time.
