40 × 80 mm aluminium profile

The main arm is an aluminium extrusion with a 40 × 80 mm cross-section. This measurement is useful when selecting the correct slot nuts, connectors and accessory brackets. Compatible mounts can be positioned along the profile within the adjustment range provided by their own hardware.

Before tightening a control, check the complete lever movement, cable clearance and access to the seat. A shifter or handbrake bracket should not rub against the seat or restrict the driver's hand during a gear change.

Left- or right-side cockpit installation

The arm can be fitted to the left or right side of the rig. This lets the driver place a shifter in the preferred position, mount a handbrake on the chosen side or keep a HOTAS throttle beside the correct hand.

Set the seat to its normal driving position before choosing the height and reach of the accessory. The lever should be accessible with a naturally bent elbow and without leaning forward. Leave enough clearance to enter the cockpit and move the seat.

Black or white versions for Simgasm cockpits

The arm is available with a black or white finish. Simgasm confirms compatibility with the Hobby, Club, Sport and Pro cockpits. Complete Sport and Pro packages may already include an Apex arm, so check the selected rig configuration before ordering another unit.

Compatibility with third-party cockpits is not confirmed. Compare the rig profile, slot layout and connector positions before attempting installation. This product is also different from an Apex monitor-stand side arm: it is intended to mount accessories beside a cockpit.
