1. Is the MOZA MA3F a left-hand grip?
Yes. MA3F is an officially licensed Airbus left-hand sidestick inspired by the grip used at the captain's station.
2. Is a flight base included?
No. The package contains the MA3F grip and its accessories. A separately purchased, compatible flight base is required. The grip does not connect directly to a computer through USB.
3. Which bases support the MA3F?
MOZA confirms support for AB6 and AB9 bases. The grip uses a 5-pin aviation connector. Compatibility with other bases should not be assumed from the pin count alone.
4. Does the grip have nine separate buttons?
No. Five physical controls provide nine button inputs in total. The five-way hat switch handles several inputs while remaining a single physical control.
5. Can the five-way hat-switch cap be removed?
Yes. Use the included tool to remove the cap and replace it with the magnetic cover. This gives the top of the grip an appearance closer to a classic Airbus sidestick.
6. What are the two side buttons used for?
The buttons on the left side of the grip can be assigned to simulator functions. Their mappings can be tailored to the aircraft and control profile in use.
7. How is the grip secured to the base?
An aluminium alloy locking ring and a top-mounted locking screw secure the connection. They help reduce play and unwanted movement between the grip and the base. A locking wrench is included.
8. Does the grip generate force feedback on its own?
No. Forces are generated by the compatible FFB base on which MA3F is mounted. The grip provides the handhold and physical controls, but does not replace the base mechanism.
9. Which software is used to configure MA3F?
MOZA Cockpit on PC. Once connected through a compatible base, the software lets you check device status, map buttons and manage simulator profiles.
10. What are the grip's dimensions and weight?
MOZA lists dimensions of 77 × 133 × 173 mm and a weight of 232 g. These figures refer to the grip, not a complete setup with a base.
11. How long is the warranty for MOZA products?
Simline is the largest authorised seller of MOZA in Poland and Europe. As an authorised MOZA partner, all products from this brand are covered by full warranty protection for up to 2 years within the European Union, in accordance with MOZA warranty terms.
12. How do I submit a warranty claim for a MOZA product?
