Boost Kit 180 replaces the standard 90 W power supply and raises CSL DD or Gran Turismo DD Pro peak torque from 5 to 8 Nm. The additional torque reserve widens the Force Feedback dynamic range, allowing the wheel base to produce stronger reactions without losing the finer cues associated with surface detail, grip, and vehicle behaviour.

Installation without additional configuration

The upgrade involves disconnecting the 90 W power supply and replacing it with Boost Kit 180. The compatible wheel base detects the new power source automatically and releases full performance without requiring the 8 Nm mode to be activated manually.

Designed for CSL DD and Gran Turismo DD Pro

The power supply was designed and tested specifically for two Fanatec wheel-base families: CSL DD and Gran Turismo DD Pro. Fanatec states that the increased performance does not compromise the durability of a correctly used wheel base, while explicitly excluding Boost Kit 180 compatibility with its other bases.
