Xcite offers ultra-slim 4-ohm sim racing bass shakers: the XBS25-4, XBS50-4 and XBS100-4. Three sizes cover local pedal feedback, powerful seat effects and tactile output for a heavier cockpit platform.
Xcite develops low-profile tactile transducers that convert an amplified audio signal into mechanical movement. Once attached to a seat, pedal deck or cockpit structure, they make engine speed, gear shifts, kerbs, wheel slip, lock-ups and ABS physically perceptible without increasing speaker volume.
The Xcite sim racing bass shakers available from Simline use SpiderCore architecture, neodymium motor systems, four-layer voice coils and double steel suspension. Aluminium enclosures assist heat dissipation, while the IP66 rating applies to the transducers themselves. Every model is passive and requires an external amplifier, speaker cable and an audio source.
The Xcite XBS25-4 measures 75 mm across and only 25 mm high. Its ±6 mm excursion, 93.1 N peak force and 22 Hz - 1 kHz range suit a pedal deck, backrest, wheel deck or multi-point installation where compact dimensions matter.
Xcite specifies 25 W for the Rms Noise Test and 125 W for Long-term Max Power. The XBS25-4 is best used for short, precise impulses assigned to a specific cockpit zone. It can be powered by the Fosi Audio TB10A, beginning configuration at a low output level.
The Xcite XBS50-4 increases excursion to ±9 mm and peak force to 155 N while retaining a 104 mm diameter and 35 mm height. It suits a seat or pedal deck when the XBS25-4 would be too subtle and the size of the XBS100-4 is unnecessary.
This model is an alternative to the Dayton Audio BST-1 and covers 17 Hz - 1 kHz. Its documentation distinguishes a 50 W Rms Noise Test rating from 250 W Long-term Max Power. The XBS50-4 requires the Fosi Audio TB10A, with one 4-ohm shaker connected to each channel.
The Xcite XBS100-4 provides ±12 mm excursion, 324 N peak force and 215 N average force. Its 11 Hz - 1 kHz range and 22.1 Hz resonance support deep impacts and clear details through a seat, solid platform or larger section of an aluminium cockpit.
The enclosure is 156 mm in diameter, 48.5 mm high and weighs 1570 g, so it requires a rigid bracket. Xcite specifies 100 W for the Rms Noise Test and 500 W for Long-term Max Power. This is a passive 4-ohm transducer. Select an amplifier separately according to its specifications and the intended operating level.

Begin with the mass of the component that must vibrate, the available space and the number of planned zones. The XBS25-4 suits compact or multi-point systems. The XBS50-4 provides a stronger seat effect and covers most rigid cockpits. The XBS100-4 is intended for a larger surface or heavier component.
Secure each shaker to a rigid plate, bracket or profile. Flexible mounts and soft upholstery absorb energy. In a SimHub system, the computer generates telemetry effects, the sound card passes the signal to an amplifier and the amplifier drives the transducer. Begin with a low output level and increase it gradually.
