F-GT can be assembled in two main layouts. Formula mode reclines the seat and raises the pedals, while GT mode places the driver more upright with a lower pedal position closer to a touring-car layout. A hybrid setup is also possible, combining the GT seat position with Formula-style pedal placement.
Changing between the layouts requires selected frame parts to be loosened and repositioned, so it is not a one-movement adjustment made during a session. It is worth choosing the most frequently used layout before assembly. Dimensions depend on the configuration: Formula measures approximately 170 x 60 x 100 cm, while GT measures approximately 140 x 60 x 125 cm.
The included seat slider changes the distance to the steering wheel and pedals without rebuilding the complete cockpit. Wheel-plate height and angle are adjustable, while the pedal platform can be moved and tilted. Once the hardware is mounted, these controls help set knee position, steering reach and ankle movement.
The shifter support can be installed on the left or right. Height-adjustable feet help level the frame on the floor, and the supplied lumbar cushion fills the space between the lower back and the seat. Next Level Racing specifies a maximum supported user weight of 130 kg.
The frame is made from steel and finished in matt black powder coating. The current package includes additional strengthening kits for the wheel mount and pedal platform. They are intended to reduce movement when a Direct Drive wheelbase and a brake pedal requiring higher pressure are installed.
Next Level Racing does not publish a specific torque limit in Nm for this model. Before fitting a powerful wheelbase, check its hole pattern, weight and the manufacturer's installation requirements. The plates are pre-drilled for popular Logitech, Thrustmaster, Fanatec and SimXperience AccuForce hardware, but the exact model pattern should still be checked before purchase.
The box contains the F-GT frame, split seat with slider, lumbar cushion, shifter support, height-adjustable feet, hardware for hard mounting the controls, and a ButtKicker Gamer 2 adaptor. Wheel and pedal reinforcement kits are supplied with the cockpit. The wheelbase, steering wheel, pedals, shifter, display and electronics shown in product images are not included.
The cockpit can be expanded with the dedicated F-GT Monitor Stand, lockable castor wheels, Universal Handbrake Plate or Universal Seat Brackets. Motion Plus requires the separate Motion Adapter Frame. Before ordering an accessory, check that it is intended for the standard F-GT because parts for F-GT Lite, F-GT Elite and F-GT Pro are not always interchangeable.
