ARES APEX 8 Nm: compact Direct Drive wheelbase

The ARES APEX sends motor torque directly to the steering shaft. It delivers 8 Nm of holding torque and a torque slew rate of up to 4 Nm/ms. A 21-bit magnetic encoder tracks shaft position, while two processors handle Force Feedback calculations.

The housing measures 134 x 150 x 196 mm and weighs 5.9 kg. Four M6 mounting points are located underneath, with four M8 points available for side mounting. CONSPIT Link 2.0 provides adjustment of force, filters, steering range and end-stop behaviour.

300 GT: display wheel with extensive controls

The CONSPIT 300 GT is 300 mm wide and combines a carbon-fibre front plate with a one-piece aluminium rear housing. Its 2.99-inch, 800 x 268 display presents telemetry data, while 48 RGB indicator LEDs cover rev and setting feedback. Eight additional RGB buttons can be assigned to in-car functions.

Four thumb encoders, three 12-position rotary switches and two seven-way joysticks provide access to setup changes. The rear assembly includes magnetic Hall-sensor shift paddles and two analogue Hall-sensor clutch paddles. Wheel weight is approximately 1150 g without the quick release or adapter.

CDR Quick Release: wheel-to-base connection

The CDR Quick Release connects the 300 GT wheel to the ARES APEX wheelbase. Its automatic locking mechanism seats the wheel without an additional retaining bolt, while the release collar supports quick removal. Spring-loaded contacts carry power and data between the wheel and wheelbase.

The wheel-side part is made from aluminium alloy. It measures 81 x 83 x 83 mm, weighs 0.315 kg and uses three 5 mm holes on a 50 mm PCD. In this bundle, the CDR is matched to the 300 GT and the wheelbase-side interface fitted to the ARES APEX.

CPP APEX 2P: hydraulic brake and throttle

CPP APEX 2P contains a throttle pedal and a hydraulic brake pedal. Its vertical brake system combines a hydraulic chamber with an elastomer, creating a distinct transition between initial movement and increasing brake resistance. A 10 MPa pressure sensor measures braking input, while a Hall sensor reads throttle position.

The set measures 328 x 333 x 227 mm and uses aluminium alloy and carbon steel. It can connect directly to the PC through USB or to the ARES APEX through CONSPIT CAN. The optional clutch and vibration motor kit are not included in this 2P configuration.
