Sabelt S99-E - questions and answers
1. What is the Sabelt S99-E?
It is a package based on the Sabelt S99 V2 cockpit, supplied with the Lite Wheel Deck for a wheelbase and the Lite Pedal Mount for pedals.
2. How does S99-E differ from the standard S99 V2?
S99 V2 is the base cockpit structure. The S99-E package adds a bottom-mount wheelbase deck and the platform required to install a compatible pedal set.
3. Which main components are included?
The package combines the Sabelt S99 V2, Sabelt Lite Wheel Deck and Sabelt Lite Pedal Mount.
4. Which driving position is the S99-E designed for?
It belongs to the S Series developed around GT and touring-car layouts. The final seating posture also depends on the selected seat and mounting brackets.
5. How is the wheelbase installed?
A compatible wheelbase is bolted from underneath to the Lite Wheel Deck. Its mounting pattern should be compared with the available holes before purchase.
6. Is the Lite Wheel Deck a front-mount bracket?
No. It is a conventional plate for bottom-mounted wheelbases. Hardware designed solely for front installation requires a different compatible mounting system.
7. Will the Lite Pedal Mount fit every pedal set?
The slots accommodate several mounting arrangements, but support for every model cannot be guaranteed. Unusual hardware may need an additional adapter plate.
8. Can the wheelbase and pedal positions be adjusted?
Their positions are selected during assembly using the cockpit profiles and mounting slots. The available range depends on the hardware and the chosen component placement.
9. Is a racing seat included?
No. The seat, side brackets and seat sliders must be selected separately, allowing the driver to choose a shell suited to their build and preferred GT position.
10. Is the Sabelt S99-E a complete drive-ready simulator?
No. It supplies the cockpit structure and two control mounts. The wheelbase, steering wheel, pedals, seat, display, computer and remaining electronics are sold separately.
