FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Conspit CSD Dashboard work with SimHub?
Yes. The Conspit CSD is fully compatible with SimHub and includes ready-to-use presets for the display interface and telemetry indicators that can be loaded directly in the software. CONSPIT works closely with the SimHub team to ensure tight, optimised integration.
What information do the LED indicators on the CSD display?
The CSD features 31 RGB LEDs arranged across four indicator zones. They display engine RPM, race flags, vehicle status, radar and other session information. A pre-installed LED profile includes over 20 pre-configured modes for vehicle status and track conditions — all fully customisable in SimHub.
What do the four encoders on the CSD do?
The two side encoders handle quick adjustment of screen brightness and LED brightness. The main encoder switches between dashboard pages. The touchscreen manages additional sub-pages and auxiliary functions. All controls are fully customisable to suit individual preferences.
Which wheelbases is the CSD compatible with?
The CSD mounts directly onto Fanatec (DD1, DD2, CSL, CSL DD), Simucube (Sport, Pro) and Simagic (Alpha Mini, Alpha, Alpha U) bases using the included brackets. Mounting on MOZA bases requires an additional adapter. The dashboard also installs on GT-Lite cockpits and aluminium profile rigs.
What material is the Conspit CSD housing made from?
The CSD housing is CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aerospace-grade aluminium alloy with a sandblasted and anodized surface finish. This ensures high durability, resistance to mechanical damage and the refined aesthetic characteristic of CONSPIT hardware.
How does the Conspit CSD connect to a PC?
The CSD connects to a PC via direct USB (USB-C cable included) or through the CONSPIT CAN interface. Two data ports on the rear of the housing allow you to choose the most convenient cable routing orientation depending on your cockpit or wheelbase mounting setup.
What is included in the box with the Conspit CSD Dashboard?
The box includes the CSD dashboard unit, 3 types of mounting brackets and a USB cable. Ready-to-use SimHub presets for the display and LED indicators are available for download from the CONSPIT website.
