Simucube 3 70 mm Adapter replaces the wheelbase-side Link Quick Release interface and lets you install a third-party QR system using the industry-standard 70 mm pattern. Six threaded M5 holes provide flexible mounting across Simucube 3 Sport, Pro and Ultimate wheelbases. Required fasteners and installation tools are included. The adapter does not support wireless data or power transfer through the Simucube Link interface during use.

Frequently asked questions
1. What does the Simucube 3 70 mm Adapter do?
It replaces the wheelbase-side Link Quick Release with a third-party QR system using the standard 70 mm mounting pattern.
2. Which wheelbases are compatible?
The adapter fits Simucube 3 Sport, Simucube 3 Pro and Simucube 3 Ultimate.
3. Can it be used with Simucube 2?
No. Its construction is designed specifically for the shaft used by Simucube 3 wheelbases.
4. Must all six M5 holes be used?
Simucube requires at least three available holes to be engaged according to the mounting pattern of the selected quick release.
5. How should quick release screw length be selected?
After accounting for QR thickness, a screw must not project more than 10 mm beyond its mounting face.
6. What is included in the package?
The adapter, three M5x20 screws, six M5x16 screws, three M5 locking washers, a 3 mm hex key and a T10 Torx key.
7. Does Simucube Link wireless power still work?
No. The adapter removes the original wheelbase-side Link interface, so a third-party quick release cannot carry power through it.
8. Can a Bluetooth steering wheel still operate?
Yes, when the wheel and system support that connection. The adapter carries no data but does not block an independent Bluetooth link.
9. Must the original Link Quick Release be removed?
Yes. The adapter mounts to the shaft after careful removal of the original QR and placement of the Link cable in its dedicated slot.
10. Does installation require special care?
Yes. Disconnect power, protect the Link cable and circuit board, and use the correct tools and screw lengths specified by Simucube.
