Forged Carbon Look finish and GT geometry

The Simgasm Atlas GT Carbon combines a carbon-composite shell with a Forged Carbon Look finish. Its irregular pattern highlights the shaped shoulders and side edges, helping this version stand out more strongly in a rig than a uniform black or white finish.

The GT geometry positions the driver more upright than the Formula version. The back and shoulders receive stable support suited to GT cars, touring cars and endurance racing. The backrest is fixed, so the height and angle of the complete seat are set on the side brackets.

Five memory-foam cushion colours

One product page offers GT cushions in black, blue, white, red or orange. The colour changes the appearance of the seat but does not affect its geometry, shell material or weight. Each variant has its own SKU.

The cushion set uses memory foam and is shaped for the Atlas GT upper section. The cushions can be removed for cleaning and washed according to the manufacturer's instructions. Additional lower-back support is available through the separately sold Atlas lumbar cushion in the GT version.

The modular Atlas construction

The lower Atlas base is shared by the GT and Formula configurations. To change the character of the rig, the user can purchase the Formula upper section with its matching cushions and attach it to the existing base.

This is not a reclining backrest or one compromise shape. GT and Formula are separate geometries fitted to the same base. The cushion set must also match the upper section in use.

Side mounting, harnesses and haptic equipment

The Atlas GT Carbon attaches to the cockpit through side mounting points. Separately sold brackets provide seat-height and angle adjustment. The manufacturer confirms compatibility with Simgasm Hobby, Club, Sport and Pro cockpits, while installation on a third-party rig requires verification of the mounting layout.

The shell is prepared for 4-, 5- and 6-point harnesses, includes a factory mounting-hole pattern for a compatible bass shaker and provides an additional point for a compatible accessory such as a cup holder or headset holder. These components are not part of the standard package.

2. What does the Forged Carbon Look finish mean?

It is the name of the shell's decorative finish with an irregular motorsport pattern inspired by forged carbon. The shell itself is made from carbon composite. The finish name should not be presented as confirmation that its decorative layer is made from solid forged carbon.

3. How is the colour variant selected?

The Forged Carbon Look shell finish is fixed, while the customer selects black, blue, white, red or orange GT cushions. Each configuration has its own SKU.

4. Does the backrest recline?

No. The backrest has fixed geometry. The height and angle of the complete seat are set during installation with compatible side-mount brackets.

5. Can the cushions be removed and washed?

Yes. The memory-foam cushion set is removable and can be washed according to the manufacturer's care instructions. The selected colour does not change the cushion construction.

6. Are cockpit mounting brackets included?
