SIMGASM Hobby Blue is a compact 40 × 40 mm aluminium-profile cockpit offered with four wheelbase mounting layouts. Its adjustable frame supports GT or Formula-style positioning, while the pedal deck is rated for braking loads up to 150 kg. Choose Bottom, Front, Side or Asetek Front Mount, then add a separate sim racing seat.

Four mounting paths for different wheelbase cases

The mount must be selected for the wheelbase rather than by appearance. Bottom Mount covers many supported underside patterns from Logitech, Fanatec, MOZA, Thrustmaster, SIMAGIC, PXN, Simucube, Asetek and VRS. The regular Front Mount serves compatible Fanatec, Simucube and VRS bases and is not suitable for SIMAGIC.

Side Mount supports selected Fanatec, MOZA and SIMAGIC models through the sides of the case. Asetek Front Mount is the dedicated option for compatible Asetek bases. The package includes the selected bracket type only, so the exact base model and hole pattern should be confirmed before ordering.

Slots in the profiles allow the steering section, pedal deck and seat brackets to be repositioned. The cockpit can therefore be arranged for an upright GT posture or moved towards a lower, more reclined layout. The final range also depends on the seat, side brackets and slider selected for the build.

The pedal deck carries a stated braking-load rating of up to 150 kg. This provides useful headroom for many load-cell pedal sets, provided their mounting pattern fits. Seats and mounting styles can be reviewed in the sim racing seats section.

The box contains the profiles, structural brackets, selected wheelbase mount, hardware, tools, assembly guide, white gloves and the Core side arm for a shifter or handbrake. No additional livery is supplied with the blue version, leaving the profile finish to carry the colour theme.

A monitor stand, keyboard arm, mouse tray and other modules can be added as the simulator develops. Suitable parts are available under sim rig accessories and TV and monitor stands.

SIMGASM Hobby Blue - questions and answers

1. Does the blue version include a livery kit?

No. Its visual theme comes from the blue-finished profiles, and no additional decal set is supplied.

2. Which wheelbase mount should I choose?

Choose according to the wheelbase model and its mounting holes. Options are Bottom, Front, Side and Asetek Front Mount.

3. Are all four mounts included?

No. The box contains the mounting version selected for the order, not a complete set of all four bracket types.

4. Can regular Front Mount hold a SIMAGIC base?

No. Compatible SIMAGIC models should be checked against Bottom Mount or Side Mount instead.

5. Is there a shifter bracket in the box?

Yes. A Core side-profile arm is included for a compatible shifter or handbrake. The device itself is sold separately.

6. Is a seat supplied with the chassis?

No. The seat, brackets and slider must be selected separately. Available choices can be found under sim racing seats.

7. What is the assembled footprint?

The frame measures 580 mm wide, 1300 mm long and 725 mm high. Leave extra room for the seat, display and access.

8. Can the pedal deck take load-cell pedals?

It is rated for braking loads up to 150 kg. The pedal set's hole pattern must also match the deck.

9. Is the frame itself platform compatible?

The chassis is passive. PC, Xbox or PlayStation support is determined by the fitted wheelbase, wheel and pedals.

10. Can the cockpit be expanded later?

Yes. Its profile construction accepts compatible monitor supports, keyboard arms and other sim rig accessories.
