SIMNET A-PPS – questions and answers
1. What is SIMNET A-PPS?
SIMNET A-PPS is a side support installed beside a pedal face. It creates an additional edge for the foot to rest against and limits movement beyond the usable pedal surface.
2. Which pedals are compatible with A-PPS?
It is designed for the SIMNET SP Pro 2P and SIMNET SP Pro 3P sets. Compatibility with pedals from other manufacturers is not officially listed.
3. Is A-PPS a larger replacement pedal face?
No. It is a lateral support rather than the central contact surface. A-PPS adds a guiding edge beside the existing pedal face instead of replacing the faceplate.
4. Is SIMNET A-PPS sold individually?
Two quantity options are available. Select one A-PPS for a single side or two pieces to create left-and-right support around the pedal face.
5. When is one side support enough?
A single support works well when the foot usually moves towards one edge or when the driver only needs a reference point on one side. It also leaves more open space on the opposite side.
6. What is the advantage of the two-piece option?
Two supports define the left and right edges of the pedal face. This makes the intended foot position easier to find after moving from another pedal and limits sideways movement in both directions.
7. Does A-PPS change the Load Cell response?
No. It does not alter sensor resolution, brake pressure, spring resistance or the pedal response curve. Its purpose is purely ergonomic: keeping the foot more stable on the pedal face.
8. Can it be used on the throttle, brake or clutch?
A-PPS can be placed beside the selected pedal in a compatible SP Pro set. Choose the pedal and mounting side according to where additional lateral guidance is most useful.
9. Does SIMNET A-PPS connect to a computer?
No. There are no electronics, USB connection or controller settings. The support does not require SIMNET SimConnect Manager, SimHub or any additional software.
10. Is the pedal shown in the images included?
No. The offer covers the selected SIMNET A-PPS quantity only. SP Pro pedals, baseplates, haptic modules and other accessories are separate products.
